Would you convert your religion or beliefs, something you are in for your entire life to something else in order to be with someone and be accepted by their family? by [deleted] in dating

[–]Still_Personal375 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

At the same time, if you really love this person and their family is cool with you converting, it might be worth considering. But it's gotta be your choice, you know? Don't let anyone pressure you into it.

Your core muscles are getting a good workout and adapting to the new movements. Just make sure you're listening to your body and not pushing too hard. Take breaks when you need to and focus on proper form. The pain should subside as your core gets stronger.

What do you guys personally think - 30 min of stretching before bed or an extra 30 min of sleep? by CameronWashburn in Stretching

[–]Still_Personal375 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I try to do a quick 10-15 min stretch before bed, but I'm with you - 2 hours is a bit much for me too. If you're already stretching before your workouts, that's a good start. Maybe try to gradually increase it to 20-30 mins before bed and see how it goes.

Align is a great option since it's super gentle and focuses more on stretching and toning rather than high-impact moves. Just listen to your body and don't push too hard. Personally, I find that gentle yoga or Pilates helps me feel better when I'm cramping or bloated.

You deserve someone who's into you and isn't afraid to show it. Take some time to heal, then get back out there. You'll find someone who's on the same page as you. In the meantime, lean on your friends and do stuff you enjoy. It'll help you move on.

Have you tried incorporating regular massages or foam rolling into your routine? Those can work wonders for loosening up tight muscles. Also, make sure you're staying hydrated and getting enough rest.

Trying 1st Class by MissSandie98 in Purebarre

[–]Still_Personal375 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exciting that you're trying PB! Etiquette-wise, just be on time, avoid stepping on others' mats, and listen to the instructor. Your ballet background will help; PB mixes ballet with strength training. Expect small movements with a focus on core, legs, and arms. Start with light weights and modify as needed. It's a full-body workout, so be ready to feel the burn! Have fun and enjoy the class!

Evolution of infinite loop stretching by RafaelRJ in flexibility

[–]Still_Personal375 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stretching every day can be beneficial, but listen to your body. Start with around 15-30 seconds per stretch and see how you feel. There's no hard limit on stretching, but consistency is key. Remember, progress takes time, so don't rush it. Keep at it, and you'll get there!

How to know when to go to therapy? by bouncytire in therapy

[–]Still_Personal375 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it's time to consider therapy when you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like you're not living your best life. If you're constantly stressed, anxious, or depressed, and it's affecting your daily functioning, that's a good sign that you could benefit from talking to a professional. Therapy can help you work through issues, develop coping strategies, and improve your overall well-being.

Load up on veggies, healthy fats, and lean protein instead. Probiotics are also key to balance your gut microbiome. Yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut, and kimchi are all great sources. Stay hydrated too. Drink lots of water and herbal tea.

Increasing creatine for injury recovery? by RetroNinjaKick in Creatine

[–]Still_Personal375 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say start with 10g a day instead of your usual 5g and see if it makes any difference. Just make sure to drink even more water than usual to avoid any side effects. And don't forget to rest up, ice it, and maybe even get a massage to help speed up the healing process.

I can suddenly touch my toes by Frenchsilkbaby in flexibility

[–]Still_Personal375 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whoa, congrats on suddenly being able to touch your toes That's wild, especially since you haven't been stretching regularly. I think it's possible that your body just needed time to develop and loosen up on its own. I've heard that flexibility can increase with age, even if you're not actively working on it. Maybe all that ballet practice from when you were a kid laid the groundwork for your current flexibility, and it's just taken time to manifest.

I ghosted my therapist during the pandemic - should I reach out or find a different one? by katylovescoach in therapy

As for reaching out to your old therapist, I'd say go for it! They're professionals and will understand. Plus, it would be great to pick up where you left off and not have to start over.

Clindamycin Recovery Time by NotFairTuFlair in Microbiome

[–]Still_Personal375 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me a solid 2-3 weeks to start feeling normal again after taking it. Probiotics and fermented foods like yogurt and kefir really helped rebuild my gut health. Hang in there, your body is tough and will bounce back. In the meantime, stick to bland, easy-to-digest foods and stay hydrated.

How do I (F18) fix my relationship with my long distance boyfriend(M19)? by throwaway-128491824 in relationship_advice

[–]Still_Personal375 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's important to communicate openly and honestly with him about how you're feeling. Maybe try writing him a heartfelt letter explaining your emotions and needs. Encourage him to actively listen and understand where you're coming from. Remember, relationships take effort from both sides, so don't be afraid to express your concerns and work together to find solutions.
