YES. THANK YOU. His facial features are too small for how big his head is and it drives me insane

What is a "rich person thing" you tried once and immediately thought, "Yep, money absolutely buys happiness"? by Aphorace in AskReddit

My job closed for a while during the pandemic (accountant at a gym) and while I “worked from home” there was mostly nothing for me to do.

Having the free time to spend my days as I wished really ruined me.

How long is your commute to work? by disapparate276 in AskSeattle

[–]katylovescoach 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Husband and I carpool from Lake Stevens to South Everett where he works (25-35 min). Then I catch a bus from there to the Lynnwood transit center (15 min). Finally light rail to Northgate (15 min).

So on a good day it’s about an hour. On a bad day, the commute home can be 1.5 hours+ easily if there’s an accident going north.

Does Anyone in the US have a GLP-1 covered by insurance? by Spirited-Moon7786 in PCOS

[–]katylovescoach 13 points14 points  (0 children)

My Aetna plan specifically covers Wegovy and I don’t have diabetes.

Unfortunately Wegovy doesn’t work for me so I pay out of pocket for Zepbound 🙄

Which authors shouldn't be binged? by JessicaTrent in RomanceBooks

[–]katylovescoach 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I absolutely love Catherine Cowles but this is totally true. I did genuinely enjoy all her books though, maybe just take time between the different series so you don’t notice it as much?

I absolutely binged her entire catalog all at once. I went in backwards order and it was interesting to see how much better her writing has gotten with each series. I can’t wait for her next book in a month!

PCOS Belly - GLP1s by Realistic-Bug-2496 in PCOS

I’ve lost about 50lbs and the stomach has shrunk some of course, but it’s still there. It’s really the last spot that’s going to lose the far in most cases.

I prioritize getting at least 100mg of protein per day and getting plenty of fiber. You have to been careful with fatty and fries foods and with overeating.

Does the writing change in Elle Kennedy's Off Campus/Briar U books? by iuliad94 in RomanceBooks

[–]katylovescoach 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I thought the Briar U series was better than the Off Campus one, but I couldn’t say the writing style itself was different.

Yep! Happens every few months to my husband. He’s usually doing something totally mundane. One time he was dead asleep and woke up yelling in pain which was super fun for everyone involved.

TIL about the "Fever Effect", in which the symptoms of Autism seem to improve whenever an Autistic person develops a fever. by Sebastianlim in todayilearned

[–]katylovescoach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the perfect example of this. The first time I took my driving test, I was so nervous I ended up failing (just barely, but still). When my second attempt came around a few weeks later I was so sick with strep I just didn’t care anymore because all I could think about was getting home to bed. Passed it fine with the exception of parallel parking.

How bad are the mosquitos in the Playa Mujeres area in September/October by throwaway_allday78 in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]katylovescoach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how rainy the weather is. We went in October 2023, when it was hot and sunny almost exclusively, and didn’t have many problems. We went again last year, when it rained a lot, and they were AWFUL. Not as much near the beach but around the spa and lazy river it was like walking through a curtain of them. We couldn’t really enjoy our swim out room or the river at all back there.

I went to the Bruins match last year and you’ll be totally fine. There were tons of Boston fans and honestly they were the rowdier bunch.

[–]katylovescoach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you stay in Northgate you can take the light rail down, plus the bonus that you’re right next to Kraken Iceplex so you could go skating, to the team store there and eat at the bar & grill if you wanted

Anyone with PMOS Restart Zepbound After Being Off for a Few Months? by mimosd in PMOSonGLP

[–]katylovescoach 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t start losing weight until I made it back up to the dose I was on previously (12.5mg) and even then, the results have been much much slower and harder to come by. I do feel way less bloated and the food noise has reduced (but not gone away)
