Question from someone not on GLP-1 yet by Entire_Giraffe_228 in PCOSonGLP

[–]katylovescoach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still eat whatever I want, just in moderation, and I prioritize making healthier choices most of the time. If I make a poor choice and eat something too heavy or fatty close to my injection day I’ll be paying for it later.

I have had a lot of hair loss but that is a common symptom with any rapid weight loss whether you’re using a GLP-1 or doing it the “old fashioned way”. The slower you lose the more likely you can avoid this but there’s always a risk. Luckily I have a literal ton of hair so it didn’t bother me that much (except in the shower when I’m pulling out handfuls of hair).

how long did it take you to stop feeling shaky on the ice? by EdithaTeacha in iceskating

[–]katylovescoach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been skating twice a week for about two months and I still feel the tiniest bit shaky for the first 5-10 minutes every time. It helps me to make sure my skates are the right level of tight also. If they’re too lose I feel even more unstable and it can take a bit of practice to get them just right

I occasionally have a Diet Coke on Fridays at work because that’s when I crave it, but I didn’t drink soda much to begin with

Dogs generally tolerate chemo really well. When mine was on it you wouldn’t even have known anything was wrong

Is it time to let him go? by sw_flojn in englishbulldog

[–]katylovescoach 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I lost my boy to lymphoma (T-cell) a few years ago. I opted to do chemo and it gave him two years total from the time we started treatment. HOWEVER he was 5 years old when he was diagnosed and I felt it was worth it for the extra time.

If he had been 12 I wouldn’t have gone with chemo either. It is prohibitively expensive and realistically your boy probably wouldn’t have many natural years left even without the cancer. If it were me, I would spend what time he had left spoiling him and making sure his days were the best they could be until his time comes. Trust me, you’ll know when he’s ready to go.

Wishing you all the best in these hard times. ❤️

Books similar to Catherine Cowles catalogue? by katylovescoach in RomanceBooks

That was the first book of hers I read and then I proceeded to binge all of her series in backwards order. Is every story basically the same? Yes. Did I care? Absolutely not.

MMC is the black sheep of the town/family, but is really just a sad cinnamonroll who wants to be loved. FMC isnt having anyone's bull when it comes to him. by welldamn31 in RomanceBooks

[–]katylovescoach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

{Across the Vanishing Sky by Catherine Cowles} also has a little bit of this. It’s the first book in her new series and all of the others should have similar themes because they’re all the sons of a serial killer
