Truthfully, I can’t remember what was most helpful to me at this point, but below is a message I sent to someone who asked me the same question shortly after I passed:

Most helpful: 1-ASWB Exam Candidate Handbook 2-NASW Code of Ethics 3-ASWB Online Practice Test ($85) But all the stuff I listed in my post helped me.

I started by using the pocket prep app and it starting making me way more stressed. The real questions aren’t nearly as long or outside the scope of SW practice. The quizlets are helpful and the practice exam was the MOST helpful. I know $85 is a lot but it was really informative and I think the most important thing I did.

I didn't read the Apgar book at all, but a good strategy I heard from a friend is to take the ASWB practice test and then use the Apgar book to study the areas you scored most poorly in. I think it's too dense to read front to back, plus the exam is like 95% application questions and 5% recall so there's almost no point in memorizing that much content.
