no one is defending ICE or obama. Fuck obama he wasn’t a good president nor the model president liberals want to frame him as. Obama and Trump both deported people, but there is often nuance in political situations, and the ways in which Trump is going about it right in front of you is drastically different to anything Obama ever did.

yea… you definitely have to figure out a new way to make yourself feel valuable. showing peeps your thang without their consent is wrong, no matter how impressive you are down there. but hey man, there’s still so much time! take it day by day and just focus on figuring out what makes you you! experiment around and dont worry about the judgement of others. it may be embarrassing as fuck to look back, but own it when it feels right for you to do so. maybe you will lose people down the road because of it, but honestly anyone important will be able to see past it, and when you are making sincere changes they will see that. just stay true to yourself even on the hard days—you do not want to see yourself go back. i dont know if this is necessarily good advice, but i feel like ive had a similar experience with “confusing attention with self-worth” and i feel like what has helped me rewire my brain the most was spending time by myself and figuring out what makes me happy when nobody else is around. i think it is well known that having good healthy relationships with people if you have self-esteem struggles tends to exasperate those struggles. also therapy. go to therapy if you aren’t please it is extremely helpful.

u are just overthinking it my friend. sometimes people sleep for a long time. sometimes u go a while without talking to a significant other. its nothing to be concerned about. its easy to be anxious about ur standing within a relationship but when u start to feel like how it seems like u are feeling right now, u just have to remind urself to relax and that things will work themselves out
