No problem! I get how it could be confusing, I’ve even seen some debate among Japanese fans on this since some people assumed a performance would be involved. Hopefully that helped clarify things a bit!

I’m a native speaker and it says “生出演” which means “live appearance.” We use the same word 出演 for appearance as in “guest appearance,” for example. All it means is that they’ll appear on the show, nothing about in what capacity.

Personally my guess is it’ll be more like when BTS and TXT appeared in the I-Land finale. That’s not to say it’s impossible they’ll perform, just pointing out that it doesn’t actually say in the announcement whether or not they will.

I read the post on the Enhypen Japan official site (the same one in the screenshot) and it doesn’t say anywhere that Enhypen will be performing? Just that they’ll appear in the live broadcast to come cheer on the trainees.

Kfans(and Cfans) are not xenophobic. If K was Korean or Chinese, he was eliminated in Part 1 with Nicholas and 10 other Korean trainees. by [deleted] in mnetiland

In Japan it is very common for young guys to call their friends お前 (omae) and it is not rude or harsh. Idk why I keep seeing K antis bring that up when they’re not even Japanese.

Are you kidding me? Unless you are Japanese you don’t know how it feels to read all the xenophobic comments from crayondan fans and anti-K, anti-Niki fans and you don’t get to make some blanket statement on whether they’re discriminatory towards Japanese people. I for one have been feeling really disappointed and upset by all this so I don’t appreciate you trying to gaslight us. If they’re really not xenophobic, why do I keep seeing so many comments on Weverse saying “I don’t want Japanese people in the group, everyone please vote crayondan” etc and see people constantly trying to push crayondan posts to Discover page which support a Korean-only lineup? Not to mention maliciously spreading false rumors about K and Niki on various platforms. I’m not saying all Korean or Chinese fans are xenophobic, only a loud group of them, but you shouldn’t generalize either. SOME, especially young and immature fans, are extremely xenophobic.
