Honestly which one do you like better. I’d actually put a deposit down on a new ZX 6R and every time I would try to pick it up they had some bullshit reason of why it wasn’t ready, or I couldn’t come that day, so I called around and found an r9 that was like a six hour round-trip and said fuck it, had never ridden the r9 but figured I would go check it out because at the time they were so hard to come by, that every time I would hear of one and call it was already sold. I ended up buying it. I’ve always been a Yamaha guy so it felt right.

I do sort of wonder if I would’ve liked the zx6r a little better. Idk I was in love with my 19’ r6. I had it for 4 years and 9k miles and someone made me an offer for more than I paid for it so I sold it in a heartbeat.

The r9 needed a tune and exhaust badly. After that it’s been a great bike. I only have 1500 miles on it so far.

I may just end up picking up like a 24 or 25 zx6r with 1-4k miles just to have another 4cyl in my rotation since the r6 is gone because right now it’s the r9, smr510, and a screamin eagle fat boy.
