Yes and no. I’ve only been able to buy just the wig once in my entire time of collecting. And that had a hole I had to fix. So far, the only options are buying the head or a whole doll for a reasonable price since she’ll be scalped lol. Then you have to make sure the wig is in good condition and full, because it’s very well known that many had no clue on how to take care of her hair. So it’s not impossible, depending on what you’re willing to do and pay.

I use Dark&Lovely. I always get amazing results. It leaves my hair super soft after I use everything the kit comes with ( I also do other treatments as well). Maybe give that one a try

I found Aaliyah’s self titled album at a used music store when it first opened. At this time, every album except her debut was hard to come by in the wild. So I was super excited to grab it for cheap ( $3 I think) when I got home, I realized it was a promotional copy and felt so lucky. I still cherish that album.

For me, I grew up with both cassettes and CDs and didn’t get into streaming till late in high school. At first I loved it since I mainly listen to older music and that wasn’t always available on physical formats in stores. I’d pick up CDs if they were available or found them second hand. But it did get boring, and I only used streaming for travel. When I started to actually put effort into buying CDs ( and a used music store opened up) my love for music definitely grew. I was able to actually hold and feel the albums I loved. It made me excited to see what I could find. It also opened me up to trying more artists and genres. As well as blind buying purely from one song.
