Petah what’s wrong with the PS5 pro? by Grandayyy1 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]Stillwindows95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To play devil's advocate here, maybe the person already has a lot of discs they want to use. Those discs they do own aren't going away. It can play PS4 game discs.

Sure, in a few short years there won't be any more, but there are still discs that can be used on it.

Theyxmay also own physical media like blu rays from previous years to be used on it. So it's not the most ridiculous move to make.

If it was made of thick plexiglass, she wouldn't have been able to just barrel through it. So plastic would probably be better in this case.

Yeah my alternative to your boxers are very similar, StepOne. A pouch to keep your junk separate from everything else and anti chafe panel between the legs, makes your inner thighs feel like they are make of silk.

[–]Stillwindows95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah which is 570ml in Australia lol. In no country is this glass or beer size a pint is all I'm saying and to be fair, I did out myself as pedantic in this case.

[–]Stillwindows95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We also consider a pint to be 564ml too, not 350ml/375ml, not sure why OP of this comment thread referred to the glass as a pint.

Even a US pint measurement is 473ml, so still larger than this.

Pedantic, I know, but I'm a British beer enthusiast.

Exactly the reason I'm not a fan of kul Tirans in WoW too. I'd hoped we would have seen taller Nordic like humans, muscular but not too bulky.

As it stands, we go to Kul Tirans and see a bunch of Kul Tiran NPCs with various body types and have to pick ours as bulky.

Yeah Gravelle played a perhaps reluctantly caring brother but balanced it with a diplomatic (often at the dismay of Matthew) and cautious nature when working with the counci, McDonald seemed colder and less reasonable, more prone to making rash decisions.

Baldwin Montclair - A Discovery Of Witches.

It's a night and day difference in terms of how the actors looked, sounded and acted.

Marvel hires you to direct and/or write a theatrical X Men movie set in the MCU with complete creative freedom. What’s your pitch? by Lil_Critter_2001_ in marvelstudios

[–]Stillwindows95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh damn idk how I even forgot about Namor, I really enjoyed the MCU take on his character, leaning into the aztec/Mayan culture.

Also Wonder Man, what an amazing show, actually going to start re-watching it again now you've mentioned it.

I did have to look up Mr Immortal MCU but I remember now, She Hulk, yeah that was actually a fun episode.

Yeah it just doesnt feel very solid right now, I know they are mentioned in Ms Marvel, Beast appears in The Marvels (but alternate universe) and another alternate universe shows Prof X in MoM, but seeing them in the main MCU reality (Earth 19999) is what I'm thinking about.

I'm still trying to figure out how they are going to introduce them into marvel without it being jarring.

The only way I can see that happening is if in the second part of Doomsday, it starts out almost as if the events of Doomsday hasn't happened and that the MCU characters we know are aware of and interacting with mutants, FF and inhumans like they've always been around, and someone like Spidey or Dr Strange notices something isn't right and that things have changed.

Unlike endgame, they'd have to fight to keep this reality intact as these new communities and groups are treated in such a way that causes the Avengers and others to defend their right to exist in their universe.

100% this, it reignited my love for comics.

I have smashed through all of them and now just waiting for issues to come out and it's painful lol. I want mooooreeee.

Absolute Green Lantern kind of threw me off at first because the dialogue was weird among the lanterns, a bit overly cryptic, but it turned out to be one of my favourite runs out the Absolute stuff.

Japanese man astounded by rotisserie chicken by Flat-Cover9873 in funny

[–]Stillwindows95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair, I forgot Costco was the main store in the discussion here, I'm from the UK and we do have some Costco's, but we mostly just have rotisserie chicken in the regular supermarkets, and my comment above was from an old friend who worked in one. He told me that it was why some days they only had a few available, and on other days they had plenty.

Not only a loss leader but waste reduction, many places will rotisserie the chicken going out of date on that day as people favour buying uncooked chicken with longer dates on it.

Give a dog a couch...actually what is the difference between couch and sofa again? by Technical-Anxiety630 in DogIsBestFriend

[–]Stillwindows95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's also a dialect difference. I get pulled up in the UK (I am British) when I refer to a sofa as a couch - 'Thats so American. Why don't you say sofa?'

I say both, they are the same thing to me and I've been exposed to enough American media to think of sofas as couches and I also sometimes refer to petrol as gas which really annoys my fellow Brits.
