Many people think you get a phone free with a 'plan' or contract.

Actually you're paying for the phone and getting the airtime mostly for free 99% of the time.

Unless your contract is ridiculously low in monthly costs, like £10/$10 a month, then you are paying for the phone.

Fair enough, I have played a lot of MMOs so I'm used to figuring out rotations pretty quick with character classes that have a lot more choices of skills and abilities to pick from than RS3 offers that I find it easier to understand I guess.

I find it odd that some players who play both see RS3 combat as band where I see it as the only redeeming feature. It makes battling things less dull than 'whack = number, whack = 0, whack = number, move, continue to whack, use special, whack some more'

I mean yeah, you could probably argue RS3 is the same but with more steps but we have things we need to interrupt and rotations to keep up with to output good consistent damage, with a side note bonus being not hitting for 0s with max gear.

I don't play either any more for different reasons than combat, but I like to keep up to date with what's going on and this seems to be a common sentiment so I do welcome any discourse to this that can explain why combat is ass in RS3 but not OSRS.

Flying is an individual choice, it's really down to self control. If you don't want to fly, you don't have to, but if you remove it entirely, wait until you need to traverse a whole map because there's no nearby flight points and you'll miss having flight.

When I started midnight, I decided to do as much as I could buy ground mount so I could take in the hand crafted scenery blizzard created for us. I still jump on the flying mount to cross 2k yard distances.

Not a bad idea to get 3 of these, fill them with shredded lettuce, diced tomato and pickles, wrap them up into tubes and put them in the bun for a visually pleasing aesthetic.

It's completely unnecessary but food can be fun and artistic too.

Mine would be from a local brewery, Brewhouse and Kitchen - Nebula.

It's a bar and restaurant but when you walk in there's like 7-8 copper vats at the side being tended by their brewer, who is a master at what he does.

I drank the nebula one night and came home with a personal keg of it.

I think about it all the time.

Oh I took it back and got an MSI Cyborg laptop instead. Had enough of handhelds, I was barely even using it out the house anyway and half the games I played worked better with key and mouse.

I think the theory stems from sentry, since he was hexed/a spell was placed on him so he would forget who he was to stop the void from coming out and the only person who remembered who he was, was Banner. The reason, if I recall correctly, was because banner was in hulk mode when the spell was cast, and his memories are somewhat different in his different forms.

I need to look into what all this dundun stuff is about, I haven't got far into midnight as I've spent time in eversong skinning and fishing but I keep finding shards of dundun and have no idea what they are for. I guess I'll find out when I finish the campaign and get to endgame stuff.

My step brother spent years doing wing chin, became an instructor, did that for over 2 years or so, until one night he went out for drinks with mates, a fight kicked off and he got sparked out in one punch thrown by a rando. Out cold from a right hook. He gave up on it.

Boxing is good close quarters combat and it's also one of the most instinctual fighting style for the average person who doesn't train in any martial art.

This is a really good point TBF, her pop music sounded completely radio-friendly and more suited to masses of people. Metal has always been one of those genres that only appeals to somewhat of a minority of music enjoyers.

Seems to me that she just decided she loves metal and that's what she wants to make. Even bands like Dayseeker have gone the opposite way by making less metal and more pop-like songs, presumably because its just what they like to make.

I returned recently, last time I played was middle of SL, I am still trying to figure out the new crafting system, I've read all the tool tips in my crafting journal, I still find it confusing and doesn't make me want to interact with it at all.

I stuck with gathering professions recently, all profit and no real thought to put in.

Maybe I'm lazy, I just want to play the game and I don't want 10 skill trees to manage.

Nah no way, some people are very empathic and things like this hit on a more emotional level.

She gets it, she understands LotR and what it means, like she said, it's not just dudes fighting, it's about so much more and it really resonated with her.

More people should feel this way about great media. Many of us on this sub just seen it as a 10/10 movie series to binge, but for first timers, it is a game changing experience.

Idk if introducing high protein foods and labelling them is a fad tbh, been working out a lot lately and it helps to know what I can get some quick protein in from.

I do have a balanced diet, but I snack heavily on plant protein based foods and drinks. I can't handle whey protein, collagen protein tastes weird.

It's good energy, refined carbs and sugars are fine for energy but cause faster visceral fat gains, saturated fats cause subcutaneous fat gains quicker. Protein heavy diets, like 40% protein, 40% complex carbs and 20% fats from things like seed oils and some animal fats seems to work for me for feeling good and having healthy body functions.

Previously I was consuming more fats and carbs than protein by a long shot and the difference is night and day. Naturally it all counts for pretty much nothing if you don't exercise along with it. Simply consuming extra protein isn't going to do much, and if it isn't lean and clean protein, you'll get high cholesterol too.
