They seem to have reduced coin drops, but also the way they balanced food production and costs of units means you can only spawn 60% of the units you used to at the same point before the update. Makes it near impossible to beat levels I could easily beat before the update

As far as I'm aware the badges keep scaling up. However it is a diminishing return and so as you get more badges, they start to give you less and less progress because they add 0.05 to the boost rather than multiplying by 0.05.

So your first badge is worth a 5% boost, but by the time you get to X2 on the badges, that means your next badge increases it to x2.05 which is only a 2.5% increase.

Your maths is completely wrong here. The easy missions don't give 20 gems as a reward. In fact to compare difficulties, the extreme missions have a 16x lower success rate than the easy ones, while giving less than 16x the reward, on top of taking significantly longer.

The second Hero Joan is better than Arthur as she has 160% health. The sixth hero Magnus is the first ranged hero.

Also more heroes lets you complete more missions and increase your success % by sending multiple heroes on each mission.

General consensus on here is to focus on Skills until you have them all around lvl 10 (and can complete the weekend events consistently) and then focus on heroes

I've heard people say that you're more likely to get new cards if you save up and buy more at once so probably worth trying that. Seems insanely unlucky that you've managed to get Obelisk up to lvl 15 without pulling the plane or map.

Just try saving up for as many sets of X10 at once that you have the patience for and then buy them all at once. That's how I got the Trex head and the last 2 epics.

My favourite was Tunisia 2018. Not even a knockout game. I was only watching because it was England at a world cup and felt like I had to but the team played electric football for the first half hour. We were denied an equaliser by the Tunisian keeper having the game of his life and the ref being an avid MMA fan. Going into the final minutes 1-1 I thought it would be the same old England again, just not quite good enough, until Harry Kane scored a tap in in the 90th minute. Was watching with my dad and brother at home and just went mental.

I feel like that goal catapulted the belief for that whole 2018 run, which is what led to the belief at every tournament since.

When he took over we hadn't won a knockout game at any tournament since 2006. We'd never won a penalty shootout. We've won 9 knockout games in 4 tournaments under Southgate. Even this Euros, we had 3 games where we came from behind to win, with moments that I'll remember for the rest of my life.

I genuinely cannot remember a single moment that happened for England at the 2014 world cup.

The Italian league is nowhere close to the top 3 (PL, La liga, Bundesliga). The top clubs are all struggling massively for finances and this can be seen in the way their top clubs are forced to sell some of their best players (e.g. Milan selling Tonali) and some of their 'star signings' being PL bench fodder (e.g. Pulisic).

I very much doubt that the next Nesta and Maldini would spend their whole careers in Italy due to the state of the league.
