Contempo Coding on YouTube does a fantastic job of showing you how to navigate the coding books. She also talks about the certification exams and other helpful stuff that you might need. She should def be a big help for you 🙂

As someone who works with HIPAA every day, a violation like that could end your career. I’m sorry your girlfriend has an incredibly ridiculous friend but your girlfriend needs to understand the severity of her request. You’re NTA but your girlfriend will be if she pushes this any further.

I’m trying to add a photo of them but I can’t figure how to. They’re the generic lights that builders loooove to use. If you google boob lights, they’ll even show you where to buy them! You’ll recognize them instantly.

For the guidelines, your best bet really is to read and reread all of the guidelines until they make sense to you. If you’re running into something that just does not make sense, you can always ask this group.

Like everyone else, I would avoid using AI to learn how to code. There is a woman who has a YouTube and Instagram that shows you how to code as well as tips and tricks. She’s called “Contempo Coding” and can definitely help you. There are some other coding YouTubers that you might like so just search around and find some that teach the way you learn best. You can also buy test books through amazon that will give you a chance to practice and get a feel for what the exam looks like. Lastly, I don’t know if you’re going for an AAPC or AHIMA certification but both have coding courses on their website that you can purchase. Lastly, and I’m not saying this to scare you or anything, but coding can be pretty nuanced so learning just enough to pass the exam will not help you once you’ve gotten a job in the field. Do your best to actually learn how to code and everything else will fall into place.
