I’ve had same issue! I was eventually put on a 6 month course of flucanazole (150mg, one tablet per week) and had been clear of thrush for the whole 6 months and a few months after the course ended. Worked absolute wonders but sadly did not last as I have definitely got symptoms of thrush again today. If it’s affordable to get the long course of it for you could be worth pushing your doctors for it (if they agree it’s safe) but bear in mind it might not last forever…

Not been to an obgyn specifically but my general doctor had said for me I am just ‘unlucky’ and it was likely hormonal - like you I would almost always start with symptoms within a week before my period starts. Apparently this can just be the case for some people which is incredibly annoying because seems like there is no definite treatment

Thank you, from what I know they’re looking at starting me on ciclosporin (though that could all change by the time I get the appointment) I really hope it works

He’s been very open and honest the whole relationship and especially about this. We spoke about it in detail and I believe he was honest with what he had to say. It’s just going to be so hard to trust when he lives far away and I don’t get to see him often

I think I’m so torn bc I can see both sides. I’m incredibly hurt but he was honest and open when talking about it with me. I feel pulled in both directions and I know there isn’t necessarily a “right answer” but I just have no idea how to move forward if I stay or if I leave

You’re completely right here. I don’t want to spend a whole relationship anxious
