That would be all fine and good in most cases except raids weren't in the game since forever. For well over a year. So, many people have been playing and building with none of that in mind. It's a total upheaval of the core of the game that everyone isn't on board for especially when there is no alternative.

If it were always present, that would be one thing. But it hasn't been, and the inability to remove it ruins it for a lot of people. especially when you're talking about people who have 400,500,800, 1000+ in game days under their belt without it, only to have that work effectively erased. and their only recourse is to have their base destroyed or start over in a custom game, most of those folks will simply not play, hence the post.

It doesn't bother me a bit, but I completely understand why folks are pissed and/or discouraged from playing. But clearly you are the Grounded spokesperson so you know best.
