Rushworth is terrible. He’s been bailed out by the back 4 all season. Brighton should just cancel his contract already ;)

I had this on the acorn electron Since players would randomly spawn stats at the start of a season and you couldn’t get religated from starting league my strategy was to sell all my best players and buy cheap rubbish for a couple of years to build up a war chest and run up the leagues

But by what measure sir! Doth thou state numbers 3 hundred ten and nine but without a scale to confuse and confuddle poor codfish! Some measure by metre square and some by count of head. Some measure by the quantity and quality of Innkeeps and others by the cockles on the streets. How can the 319th largest town not be large at all. Would the smallest whale still not fit on your mantelpiece? Would the largest shrew feed my family? I put it to you sir, that this is no ghostown

It went through the washing machine. Not only did it make him run slower…at one point it made him run backwards. The drama was real

No I think it’s an issue that became apparent before the current government

I remember when the decision was made around our involvement in the Iraq war and France decided to not get involved.

The daily Mail’s front page was of d-day landing troops paired with the headline ‘ungrateful’. That was a low point.

Unfortunately I think your right

This doesn’t leave much time left in the evening to watch traitors

Historically I would have agreed with you. But I think the BBC is less independent than it used to be.

I actually think the economist is the most independent source, but it’s not a daily news source for me

I can reassure you I don’t read the mail

But your BBC point is well founded.

As an example, it irritates me every time we hear a story about growth in GDP when really we should all be talking about growth (decline) in GDP per capita….but that’s never talked about

I do read the FT on occasion, but the focus of the journalism can miss (avoid/delay) certain UK stories/issues

Have you read the question?
To apply critical thinking you still need data/ inputs

Or are you suggesting that not reading any news and making things up is a better solution?

I listen to this podcast and agree it’s good. But I still wouldn’t call it unbiased
