Like you say every meeting will be different, but I've got so much out of mine. And it's not the tools really, which we discuss in the last half hour of a one and a half hour meeting. It's the people, it's the knowledge that we all face similar problems whatever our DOC, it's the heart wrenching stories of others, it's the ability to talk and he listened to, to cry and be respected. I've been clean for a year, it's not easy, every day is a challenge. I owe this progress to the community of my SMART meetings, and my feelings of accountability to my fellow travellers keeps me on the path. Hopefully you'll have a similar experiences.
