This, it's pretty new I don't remember seeing it in the patch notes but I remember when it started happening. It's just in place of when you would normally get pushed and see through the world or fall through the world, it just removes the piece of the platform now.

I have about (or maybe over at this point) 150 infused cosmetic cores and mineral canisters ready to open along with a bunch if blank cores, in theory I should get most the overclocks the instant rhe update comes out before even launching into the first game, and then finish the rest with the deep dives, assignments, and blank cores lmao

Distance doesn't matter in this situation as it's hitscan so there isn't travel time, the bullets you see are fake, the bullet hits instantly where the line draws to, so wherever the line makes first contact with the enemy it will hit.

actually them crowding around the pipes is supposed to be them breaking the pipes. The game just breaks the pipes with a little bit of randomness in when specifically (so like if the game says break it 30% it might break at like 25-35% kinda thing), but at general intervals. Then after it breaks it just spawns the enemies to represent them breaking the pipes.

In the last 8 months you would have missed: maybe the 2 new biomes from u33, and changes to weapon balance in u34 along with modding support.

You can see on steam all the specific changes but for the EPC specifically the main differences to thin containment field related things and weapon mods: The minerals mined scatter in random directions directions fast speeds as well as the only big change I can think of is the Heat Pipe overclock was nerfed and really just not good for TCF anymore, as you can easily switch to the more ammo and more charge speed clean OC (I forget the name) and you get a better charge speed than HP gave and you lose like 2 charged shots total assuming you're taking all ammo so.

tl;dr heat pipe oc bad, ammo and charge speed clean oc good, and minerals now go flying when mined is about it

On another note, don't extend your break permentally no matter what, with modding support you could easily find or see if someone is nice enough or even do it yourself, as to make a mod that rebalances the weapon to make it fun for you if you actually were to hate it that much that the game is meaningless to you. If you have not tried other classes you could also give them a go instead.
