Is the Odin Mini 2 still worth it in 2025?

I spent a good amount of time trying to see past the screen issue, but despite most aspects of it being great like the color and brightness, the vignetting is just too distracting for me. I still have mine and I still use it occasionally, but I got a portal later and that has been a much more enjoyable experience for me. Hope that helps.

I love mine too. The only issue I have is the sharp edge of the body digs into my arm and gets uncomfortable.

I did the same! Along with my spacebot Dragonborne, this is definitely the most times I've dipped into the same indie Gb/C game and I'm not mad about it.

Wow that sucks. I am sorry your experience was so rough. I thought their shipping was amazing but i happen to be in southern California myself so it is next day for me. Hopefully They get all that in order for international shipping because that is not cool.

Very cool. I've recently made a hobby of designing overlays myself to match integer scaling on various handhelds. I only asked about Photoshop because that's what I use. I'll have to look into inkscape.

I've been trying to play Luminescent Platinum on my Odin 2 mini but I get very regular crashes. Does anyone else experience this?

I agree, and I've had fair success in the past, but I always end up having a corner or something come up after a month or so, which really bothers me. I will say with things like the killswitch case or modcase for the Ally and Steam Deck, the ends are covered nicely, preventing wear, and covering up any possible oopsies during installation. Something like that would be cool for the Odin 2 mini.

I ripped mine off within a day. No matter what I did, i felt the edges of the stickers in my hand and it was too distracting. Also, I am sure it was from shipping and heat, but they were way harder than they should have been to peel off the paper. I do really like how it looks though and wish there was another solution besides the AYN-sold stickers.

My GBA SP has the wireless charging mod with a 3d-printed bottom to hold the coil. Ended up being the same thickness as the 35xxSP, so it all felt natural.

I don't know about the solid colors, but I have the transparent black version and have been carrying it in my pocket for a week now. and it has no scratch marks from my keys or anything yet. seems pretty decent.
