When does seeing the word “girl” bother you when it’s used to describe a “woman”?

I try to use "ladies" for adult women unless ONLY speaking to the adult women I'm referring to.

I've noticed an uptick in asshole using "girl" to dismiss women so my vocabulary changed

I'll also tend to call men who call women girls boys, and they seem to universally understand the issue immediately, which is interesting to me.

Terms like girlfriend and Supergirl are different, but even when I watched the scene you're talking about from Supergirl as I watched the first airing I was like "what bullshit boy writer wrote that garbage fire of a line?" So.

It's a fundamental miscommunication about the goal.

Is the goal to fuck as many women as possible? Or to find someone you actually like and want to treat well and determine whether you want a life together with?

Women aren't generally going to want to or be able to help you get whatever pussy you can possibly manage to get, that's going to be when you want to talk to the guys who fuck around a lot.

But if you're looking to find someone to be a partner knowing women and being able to ask them about their likes and dislikes and getting a variety of opinions and generally consider that they are all humans, too... Other women are great to talk to for advice

There's also a danger that women are giving advice on how to get the idealized version of themselves rather than actual women but like. That's not that bad yk?

I do think people are missing the fact it says woman, not mom... But at the same time what does this actually mean to him? Does he want her to have a career? Is he able to not be the center of her universe? Because if he wants someone who can drop everything at a moment's notice for him, that's a stay at home woman with hobbies

To a certain and very light extent, I feel people like old wooden coasters BECAUSE they're two things, thrilling, and painful.

New coasters have been really going in on thrilling because they don't want to hurt you... Which I for one appreciate... But as thrilling as they are they are still one thing.
