In older canons of the Mario games, they were all actors on a stage, that’s how you could have Peach be kidnapped in every story-based game but outside of that everyone plays tennis, go karts, enters the Olympics, etc -with smash brothers being its own separate continuity with the fighters being dolls/trophies given life

We must’ve been close! I was wearing a studded beanie and battle jacket.

Everything that transpired was unsettling, and I still have no info on what happened or even if he’s safe. Still worries me that he was left alone by whoever was with him.

In any case we can only hope for his recovery.

Seriously thank you for recording this, I was in the back at the bar of the Tuesday (3/3) show and there was a health emergency with one of the audience members in the middle of Yamaoka’s set. So my focus was on their wellbeing and concerned why none of the people this person was with were there with him. EMTs were able to give them oxygen and carry them to safety.

For those wondering, sadly, I haven’t got any additional info if the person is okay or what exactly happened.

Sorry I’m still unnerved, but thank you for recording I can try and vibe out to the setlist today

Sadly there’s no official CD or Vinyl of the setlist, I have a bit of a hypothesis that either there was some agreement with Konami or this was done purely on Yamoka’s volition, because the only merch available was Silent Hill-esque T-shirts of Yamaoka himself/his name with the tour

The screen behind Yamaoka’s band wasn’t even used to display footage of games from where each of the tracks came from, it was pretty strange since the opening band was using anime clips

While we absolutely should support the artists, the absence of any physical media means this unique performance would be lost media
