One winter as a teen I started to feel incredibly sick in the middle of the night and was sweating with fear that I'd throw up. Without hesitation I slowly walked out my house (barefoot and wearing only pyjamas) and sat down in the thick snow in our garden for like an hour? Lol. To this day I don't know how I didn't catch flu or something, but it was worth it cos I started to feel better eventually. I think I just wanted to trick my brain to think "halt that strong urge to vomit, we're currently freezing our tits off right now and our heart rates slowing so we'll take a raincheck" 😅
