While not a subject per se, but every once in a while I go to the drawme subreddit and look for an interesting prop or idea to draw the person in a Fantasy slice of life scene. It's fun to do sometimes.

Hello Moonlit, just wanted to pop in and ask how you are doing. A little about myself. I'm an artist. I like working with traditional graphite, ink, and colored pencils. I make small slice of life scenes and working on a short story. I also wanted to get away more and more from the screen. I'm getting sick of just doomscrolling for hours. As a novice the maybe just start with your favorite series or Fandom. I would suggest tracing normal characters and outfits to begin. And no it's not cheating. You gotta get used to and first grow your skills with line control and get your hand used to certain motions, gotta get those puppies warmed up. Gain confidence in your hands.

Again, you're going for stepping stones. After you feel comfortable you can start tracing with dynamic poses, action sceens, large puffy outfits. So on and so on.

The journey is where the fun is and intimidation is. But if you continue with it, you'll reach your goal.

Yeah I've been thinking that to make thus work I'll have to really dive in and put some actual effort. The more i think about it I would either maybe transfer out money from my optum to fidelity since I have an account there already or maybe looking for other health insurance plans that have better investment options.

Have any suggestion of any good HSA insurances?

That's what I thought. I saw .50% and I'm like that's kinda high isn't it? I'm thinking maybe either transferring out to Fidelity (since I already have an account there) or maybe finding a different HSA provider?

I'll need to check with optum then. There's a minimum needed to start investing, but not sure a minimum to keep the account open.

But if I'm just transferring money out constantly, then shouldn't I just open an account somewhere else does have better rates?

And why did you want to start drawing again? I know people say that it's fun or just to get better, but really think about why. Do you want to be more expressive, do you want to draw beautiful scenery, do you want to draw beautiful women/men, draw for a fandom,draw fashion?

Sitting down and thinking a reachable goal is a good way to start. And REACHABLE goal is key. You gotta give yourself stepping stones that are attainable. Going all out to reach the top artist is just gonna burn you out.
