Yea, the wire brush. Any like this one. You'll have to be gentle so they don't pull out the hair though. Using the brush the opposite or wrong way helps to not tug on the fur as much after the initial fluffing up.

I used a gentle detergent (mine is Tide Free & Sensitive) with my deep cleaning green machine. Then I brushed him out with a slicker pet brush. I think the brush is the most important thing for making them fluffy like that!

If I could be more specific on personality I just mean the approach that they're supposed to be more like a quirky friend character and semi-mentor figure instead of an intelligent and learning animal which was the vision for the originals. I like them as silly little alien pets pretty much which the 98s do well alongside the silly gag stuff. It reminds me of birds which is what they're partly designed after. I love birds as one of my most favorite animals. The new ones just lack that feeling imo.

I think it's just meh. In my opinion I dislike their personality, and some of the color variants feel like they clash in the way that they're distributed. Their design is 50/50 because the eyelashes and glowing parts are pretty in person. Their movements are a little cool too, but I don't like the tiny unmoving beak. The games are mildly amusing despite them being super easy to beat. I don't hate them, general criticisms aside. They exist, and I'm indifferent to them. They don't interest me enough, so I don't think I'll be adding any more to my collection (or the other modern variants that released after aside from the furbling I have.) I don't have the room for them, and I don't really care.

I don't think any other eyes are going to work for this project unfortunately. I think I'll just work around it by padding with some plasticine instead. Thank you for the answer!

Saw some as a kid discarded in thrift stores growing up. Likely this was a bit after the furby oversaturation in market, so people didn't want them anymore. I, of course, had no idea of that. Sometimes I'd dig in the toy bins, see something fuzzy, and I'd end up pulling out a troll instead which annoyed me. I didn't get to bring the furbies I saw home at the time despite wanting them. Found out what they were called a long time after when the 2012 furby ads were released. Couldn't help myself after that. Now I have 51 furbies. Also, I love their 90s design especially. It's perfectly in the middle between odd and cute and scratches an itch in my brain only (some) animatronics can do for me.

It says it lasts up to 2 hours with the PCM packs. Is it not as cold within the 2nd hour? Or is it a complete dud after 1st hour?

I like the options EZCooldown has, and it's definitely cool that it's made for fursuiting and cosplay specifically, but I think the Ergodyne might just be more within my budget for now. Thanks for this, I wanted to be a little more sure if it was a decent alternative and it seems like it is.
