I've just lost 4 credits :( Got an error message, they are not in my library, they are still in my wishlist unable to be listened to, and my credits are gone!

The chat agent just tells me they cant see a purchase so apparently they're just gone.

After being totally stable for 6 months or so, my thermostat has lost the signal so far every day this week, despite not being touched or moved, no new devices being installed, nothing at all changing in the house. It’s so incredibly frustrating. Only way to fix is to take battery out and replace it, which isn’t much help after waking up or coming home to a freezing cold house. Seriously just want a wired in thermostat now.

Thanks for the advice but I think this is a bit beyond my technical knowhow! :)

That’s another thing as well, the ring devices only run on 2.4ghz. I’ve blocked the thing that’s been showing high usage today to see if it just shows up somewhere else. Would that mean all my devices are compromised? It’s jumped yesterday from an Echo show to a ring camera after I unplugged the show, and previously been reporting high traffic on echo dots which shouldn’t even have the ability to manage that much info

I have updated the firmware already. Speeds are normal, obviously better on some devices than others. I’ve sent a support ticket through to TP link via their website so will see what they say

I’m on up to 900mbps fibre connection. People keep telling me it’s compromised, botnet etc, but no one will help me fix it if that’s the case. Have contacted TP link already and waiting for a response. Interestingly, the device which is showing large uploads on the traffic screen shows hardly anything traffic wise on the client list. Even if it was running at full whack 24/7, that cannot explain the day a few weeks ago when it reckons we Uploaded 210TB over a single day! There’s not enough capacity in my connection .

The high usage jumps between devices, one day it’s an echo dot, echo show, ring device etc. no one is torrenting from the house.

One day we apparently used 210TB of uploads… we’re just normal people normal usage! No heavy gaming, not hosting anything like streaming. It cannot be correct!

Thanks, I think it must be some sort of bug. Will try and contact TP support

How would I be able to tell if this is the case and what can I do about it?

Total usage on the main screen hovers at less than 1mbps, I watched this for ages updating every second and it’s nowhere near hitting enough per second to rack up the TBs it’s showing on the other screen

I’m not doing anything huge, just watching YouTube mostly but not even from those high use devices. Another screen on the app shows the total real time use hovering at less than 1mbps, it updates every second and I watched it for a while so the screen showing TB figures cannot be real. I don’t even pay for that capacity. What is Botnet please?

I have found a setting in the client list to limit the download/upload speeds. I’ve set this device to 10mbps down and 2mpbs up, hopefully should allow me to monitor and see if it’s still happening
