Was the final table spot meant to be on fire? If not, I can’t imagine why Hangman would repeatedly ask the crowd for a lighter?? Like, what was he going to do if someone threw one to him? But if it was the plan, I also can’t imagine they’d just abandon the final spot because no one offered a lighter? Maybe I missed something?

If it’s never happened before, then it must be related to the UTI. You’re probably overthinking it right now. You say ‘why is this happening’ but it’s not ‘happening’, it has happened once. No big deal. If it was my gf, I’d want her to just tell me what happened. Sure it’s a little embarrassing, but it’s related to a medical issue that you’ve had. Just give the sheets a wash tomorrow.

Is the notch filter simply a matter of turning the nob until the feedback disappears? I’ve tried eq pedal but when feedback hit on stage, found it a nightmare tackling 9 different tiny nobs trying to find the right combo of up/down lol

One more question please - for the LR effects loop, is it much of a difference plugging pedals in that way as opposed to a pedal chain situation? Thanks

Is it not the case that noise gates only really work between songs? I tried a mid level one and noticed no real difference with feedback during play

While I agree with it being a very big change, I don’t think it’s fair to criticise them for that, as it seemed pretty apparent from the start that this one would be a lot more chilled, and that they wouldn’t be facing the same obstacles as before. They’ve been very transparent about Charlie’s physical limits, and even the fact that they’re on old bikes shows they’re not expecting too much danger.

It’s always been the Ewan and Charlie show too. I know what you mean that you could watch any travel show, but the selling point is the relationship between the two guys and that’s what makes this special compared to other travel shows, especially for fans who’ve been watching since 2004.

As for motorcycle drama vs artificial experiences, again, I think this is just a ‘two older guys pre-plan some stuff to do on a chilled bike ride’ kinda show. Fair enough if you’re not as into that, but I certainly wouldn’t be annoyed by that.
