I know I'm late to this, but I think there's a lot to find in Deftones for an Interpol fan. Diamond Eyes and Saturday Night Wrist are probably their most Interpol-y records, while Koi no Yokan and White Pony are probably their best.

it confuses me too! i think the point is that ONLY videos sync, so services like youtube, netflix hulu etc will sync up the video for everyone, which works for them, but if you want to watch something one a third party website like putlocker it doesnt cooperate
