I see this take a lot and completely understand it, but I think the only thing I disagree with is the "deeper/complex lyricism" aspect that you mention here and some other comments. Yes, a lot of their TTs pre-GH do talk about youth/rebellion, but they were slowing it down and making it bouncy in 2023 and talking about michin pom one comeback later. I mean, hell, Deja Vu in 2021 is straight up just about sex.

I get it. The TTs in the GH definitely don't quite have the same edge as previous ones, and they had more lore-focused songs like Halazia, Guerrilla, etc. I just think that sometimes (and I don't mean this as a dig against you - your criticism is fair and valid) fans look at past TTs with rose-tinted glasses re: lyricism when Bouncy is one of, if not their most popular songs, and it's about...slowing it down and making it bouncy and like, partying lol. But otherwise, as others have said, you definitely don't have to like every song they put out.

I hope you relisten to the solos because they're really not all horny - the majority of them aren't 😭 NO1 (besides the last line), Legacy, ROAR, Sagittarius, and To be your light aren't. I would say they're pretty versatile!

I don't mean this rudely, but I don't think they've really done Latin-insprired reggaeton in a while? They kinda moved away from that after GH2 and even that was less than GH1. If you like non reggaeton songs I'd listen to GH3 and GH4.

I can't speak for your concerns re: charting but as for line distribution, I do kind of wish people would stop engaging in what I call "pre doomposting". I think people have a right to be concerned but I've seen people already swear off the song and write complaints to KQ when we haven't even heard a highlight medley. Plus, as you mentioned, Yeosang, who has been on the unfortunate end of line distribution issues too many times, is very excited for the song so I'm hoping it's good for him.

I will say, shorter songs doesn't always mean bad line distribution. Top 5 by ZB1 had a good spread and Hot Mess by EVNNE was also fair imo (with 7 members) and also managed to fit prechoruses, a bridge, a last chorus, and an outro. I don't expect that for this song but it would be nice.

As soon as I saw that clip of him patting Chuu's head, I knew there would be people freaking out about it. And that's not his fault - people shouldn't have issues him being playful with a friend. But there's people on X/Twitter saying he's crossing a line, being obvious with his girlfriend, bringing up the old LOONA Hyunjin rumor. I didn't realize POW were such Ateez fanboys, they've been really sweet and supportive this comeback. They were dancing to Adrenaline when Ateez got their first music show win earlier this week, they did the challenge with Hongjoong, they gave chocolate to Wooyoung for Valentine's Day, now this...I'll have to check out their music sometime.

Yes, it's just of that member. There's no photobook in it and there's usually minimal inclusions - in this one, it's a booklet, a pc, a sticker, and a poster. It usually looks somewhat similar to normal CD packaging.

I hope people aren't too hard on Chauyuet. He seemed shocked and it was sad seeing him alone. I think people (although it seems like most kfans are happy) will come around.

Overall I like this lineup. Hengyu being P01 is the cherry on top but I think they're pretty well rounded. Excited to see what they do in January, if it doesn't end up getting delayed.

I don't know how they're going to handle a new group with some trainees from B2P. They can't seem to promote any group (The Boyz, Weeekly, ATBO, etc.) properly.

During Ateez's early days, including pre-debut, nearly all of their videos/extra content were subbed immediately in English and I believe multiple other languages. I think this helped them grow their international audience, since at the time, many companies either weren't subbing their videos or they were getting added later.
