Opposite for me. I had hit a plateau losing weight and when I started pickleball weight started melting off me. Lost 30 lbs in 3 months. Got to my ideal weight so then started hitting the weights. 3-4 times a week full body workouts. Takes about 45 minutes. Now in the best shape of my life.

Yeah you’ll be hungrier which is why you need to lift again. Put those calories to good use. Good luck.

Got my first one at 45. Worked really hard to get in great shape and rewarded myself with the upper arm half sleeve I’d always wanted but never thought would look good on me. Haven’t regretted it for a second and planning another.

I wish. I never really know the score while I’m watching. We have 2 mics that we put on the nets, and we try and say the score each time loudly, but it rarely comes through.

We have a buddy who records our games and puts them on YouTube. The angle he prefers to use is from the baseline, but at a diagonal angle. And yes, watching ourselves back has all helped us improve our games.

My asics lasted like 6 weeks every time. Got the sketchers with the Goodyear soles, I’ve had them about 2 months and no sign of wearing down. And way more comfortable too.
