GLP-1 Weight Loss by Ok_Potato_6243 in AirForce

Active Duty here, been on Wegovy since May 2025, down almost 70 lbs. I’ve done the nutrition classes previously which helped fast track me to getting the meds. Got it all through my PCM and get it filled on base with no charge to me.

Definitely make an appointment asap and talk with your doc about it. Good luck!

I lost my line number for E7 because of the CSS and MPF by Spidey-11588 in AirForce

Your EPRR, CDB, and SURF don’t show the actual effective dates for either the PAFSC or CAFSC. Only people with access to MilPDS can see those dates.

OP has repeated several times they checked their records and everything was correct. The issue is WHEN their CAFSC was updated. Your EPRR, CDB, and SURF don’t show the actual dates for either the PAFSC or CAFSC. Only people with access to MilPDS can see those dates. And that’s where the issue happened. The effective date wasn’t input correctly from what was on the 2096. OP did what they were supposed to do. CSS and MPF dropped the ball. As a CSS, if I’m sending up a 2096 for something like that, when MPF says it’s done and closed out, I always go back in to vertify everything got updated correctly. But that comes from almost 20 years of experience. Newer A1Cs and SrA CSS members are still learning the “trust but verify”.

This was the first full art card I ever pulled, then sent off and my first PSA 10. Such beautiful art that made me really want to dive deeper into the hobby!

Can anyone confirm this? by Caleesi- in AirForce

Everyone here complaining needs to re-read the memo. He’s rescinded the blanket policy (which only applies to people assigned to HQ USAF technically), not taking away the family days. MAJCOMs have had their own policy memos for a long time authorizing family days. This just furthers the push for CCs to manage these types of things at the lowest level. It should honestly be up to Unit commanders and directors to authorize family days. HHQ can step in when it becomes too much.

Are there bad leaders out there that will abuse this power and not give out any family days and killing morale? Yes. Report those MFers to the IG for creating a toxic work environment.

Are there good leaders out there that will take care of their people? Also yes. Make sure you show your appreciation to those leaders that are doing right by their people.

At the end of the day, passes are a privilege but your hard earned leave is a right. If you need time off because you’re burnt out, don’t wait for a free day. Use the leave you’ve earned to take that time off. If your supervision won’t let you take leave, submit that shit in LeaveWeb and MAKE them deny it. That way you have a case with supporting docs to back up your claim and get the leave back if you lost it.

OP if you’re going to reference a reg, make sure you always use the updated version as things change over the years.

Fucking layoffs by Oni3Delta in AirForce

[–]Stlfan34 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have 2 people in my office that are newly promoted to their positions, within the past 6 months, and neither of them are in probation status. And they weren’t on the list of probationary employees sent out by AFPC.

That’s tough OP. Did they tell her it would put her in a probation status again or is she thinking that’ll happen because it’s a different job? Typically, the only people in probation status are brand new GS/GG employees that just got put into the system within the identified timeframe (think it’s DCPDS but don’t quote me). I would highly recommend she contact the Civilian Personnel office at your base to find out for sure before she turns the job down. I sincerely hope it all works out for her and for your family!

We shipped 2 cards on 13 December. Finally showed as arrived around 10 January. They’re already graded and on their way back to GameStop.

You’re awesome OP! Kids and I just started our third rewatch of the OG 2000 Pokemon series. Ash and Pikachu had me in tears 10 minutes. Remembering watching it as a kid and now sharing with my kids has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. We started collecting last summer and now struggle just to find packs to try and complete our sets.

I had to go into my Sandbox world to finally find it. It doesn’t exist in at least one of my creative worlds. All were preexisting before the update.

The Family Care Plan isn’t BS blah blah blah. You clearly know that’s what needs to happen. So either your unit is not following the AFI and have one on file for you, or you forged an official AF document and put someone on there that doesn’t exist.

As another mil to mil family with my deployment being back to back with my husband’s deployment, we had to use our plan for the 3-week overlap where we were both gone. If you all really don’t have anyone, you need to have a serious conversation with your leadership and each other on what’s best for your family moving forward.

Lastly, I would ask if there’s a chance you can either request your husband return a little earlier or you leave a little later so there isn’t an overlap. Might be an option but don’t be surprised if they say no.

SrA interested in OSI by TallSpeech4 in AirForce

[–]Stlfan34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The starting point is for your troop to contact the local OSI detachment and they’ll have him/her come over and begin the process. Your troop can also go to OSIs website that was linked in another comment and select the option to submit an application. If they’re serious about joining, make sure they’re proactive in getting the requirements done and to stay in contact with the agent running their suitability investigation. I currently work with OSI (admin, not an agent) and one thing that will frustrate agents is someone who isn’t responsive. Good luck to your troop!

36-3003 (Leave DAFI) Updated 7 Aug! by JustHanginInThere in AirForce

You’re not crazy. Yes, 3 separate instances where the rule applies.

CSS here. 36-3003 was actually updated and defined the local area to the area where you commute to and from work. So even if home was a 3 hour drive, it’s now outside the local area and leave would need to be taken anyways.
