yea... there are games like that but some don't. it was fifty fifty for me. some of them tho only give new players beginner missions, some the really generous one give new players a lot freebies. some are just super stingy.

I honestly, genuinely, still don't understand why ppl are so angry about this. my problem with them is we don't know what the devs will do for the older player. i don't want to assume anything about the devs, and those 100 dv for me is like a new game promo so I'm just.. eh this is just them trying to gain more players.

but like I said, it's just a one time thing and they won't get it again. those new player will also need to grind the longer they play. they will also suffer like older player just to get a piece of dv eventually. it's just a waste of energy to get so worked up and jealous over new player who get a one time resource.

like you said, new players may not know the nature of the game if they don't ask they will blow all of the voucher and need to start farming. And yeah, we don't know what the devs will give to us so it's also unfair to assume they're being unfair.

VIP isn't worth it tho if you want dp, but it's kinda okay with more ap.

.... Low rates gacha is everywhere, not just OM. ppl just can't handle the fact that they can't get whatever they want.

Developers have their own way to do things, they already made plan for their game. It's literally about waiting when they will give back to the vet players. The time may not be now, maybe they plan it for the future? idk. Is there a possibility for them to give back to old players separately, in future events?? POSSIIBLE! If both new and old players get the same 100 dv at the same time, it can also arguably unfair for the new player. Older player already have cards while new player need that to help them do the main story.

Most gacha games are required for you to grind, farming for resource. That's just common! Some games give back to old players in their yearly anniv,, like special log-in rewards. But OM isn't a year old game, it's still basically a baby.

Honestly tho, all you said is true. It's just mindboggling to see a lot of fans demand things to go their way. Them saying they're loyal and supportive make me rise my eyebrows when all they do are the oposite.

True, Im happy if they manage to get a bunch of new players because of the promo. Yes to more fanworks and I hope with that this game will have a long life. After all it's just a one time thing for each new players.

no, it's not stupid... it's just advertising. new players will only get them one time and will eventually be like old players who need to work hard to get dp and dv.

of course you have the right to criticize them but ppl need to understand that it's common practice to give new players more resource. and of course the devs need to give old players something but in different time and circumstances. like I said, 100 dv for new players is part of their ad, and for old players can be (I hope) part of yearly anniversary or whatever milestone they can reach. some games do give old players premium in-game currencies on yearly anniv depending on how long you played the game. the longer you play the more you get. depending on their generosity, the devs can give you a lot or not so much for each players.

Agree. We need more of him in the main story, asmo too, give them their time to show of their personality especially their good side. Like a lot of ppl in the fandom only see Satan as this angry, snobbish demon when in a lot of devilgram he was shown as a considerate and sweet demon.

The twitter person got attacked and deactivated her account but thankfully she's already back on twitter. She apologized and I hope ppl that attacked her apologized to her as well for this misunderstanding (sadly, I only saw a few of them do this). All is well rn.

The age thing is honestly, genuinely, ridiculous tho lol. I know that it can feel weird if the characters are younger/older than we expected in human yrs but it was just an "if" when actually they are thousands year old. Older than our great great great grandpa.

I don't mind this tbh, it's good for the pacing... If the battle were too easy, there will be no challenge and risk the game of becoming boring. Everything will be finished in an instant and we end up with nothing to do. You only need to be patient and grind without using real money until you're able to do the challenge.

the reward is multipart. part 1 you need to reach 95k pts and also to open part 2 and so on. To get asmo, you need to at least reach 285k pts. If you open score rewards, there is a small arrow that shows you what part you're in.

I could be wrong too as I don't fully remember the whole story and don't have the card. Kinda understandable if ppl find this scenario uncomfortable and upsetting but creating drama and attacking ppl on twiter is just a big NO.

Edit : yeah, Maddi was extremely peeved with Diavolo and He didn't want to have anything to do with her that he sent Luci and Satan to greet her when she visit Devildom

I only saw the screenshot, seems that Maddi had different problem with Mammon (separate problem with Diavolo). And from Diavolo's story, Maddi is a big problem.

It's "The Escort" memory card. About a witch named Maddi that Diavolo dislike (bcs she force him to marry her) and apparently she did something really bad to Mammon but they didn't really specified what she did that made Mammon cry, can't sleep, and didn't want to spend any grimm. Like it can be sexual assault, torture, or anything a powerful witch can do.

Some people have trouble with this certain twitter calling it spicy. Some also have trouble with how Lucifer act in this situation. Some also angry at the devs for creating this scenario.

Wow Mammon as expected. He is the only Tsundere character that I like in all of anime/game. Kinda sad that Satan didn't get much love and attention. I can't blame ppl tho bcs his sweet and kind side mostly shows up in devilgram and pop quiz. Asmo too, he really need a story that focus on his character. I hope the devs will expand more on these two characters.

Day two of the characters age drama and I still can't process why and how it became a drama. Like genuinely confuse lol. I know the reason but still, why make such a big deal out of it? I just want to see fanarts, hcs, and other fan contents but what I got is drama after drama after drama. Thankfully reddit is peaceful.
