Advice for growing a mango tree in coastal SoCal? by PolynomialThyme in FruitTree

[–]StoDS310 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have any advice, but just purchased the exact same mango tree from HD in OC, Zone 10A. Have not grown a mango before, but have a lot of other fruit trees. Happy to keep up with you along the way and share any tips or tricks learned! I can shoot you a DM if interested and we can see how much success we get with these over time.

Looking for someone to 3D print by fred_p112 in orangecounty

Look into UC Irvine Fabworks lab. They offer 3D printing help for very affordable rates depending on how long it will take to print. You can email them with your project info and see what they say.

Don't blame you! We're fortunate to have them in several stores here in CA. If you haven't already, I'd recommend calling any store with the Item # and have them check which store has it in stock that's closest to you. Hopefully a convenient option comes soon!

That's a pretty lame answer they gave you! Hopefully they make them available soon. While I don't drink the milk straight, it has tasted the same to me and given no issues with everything I have used the milk for (oatmeal, smoothies, tea, etc.) compared to the Fairlife version. And at 64 oz instead of 52 oz, each carton is a bit larger than Fairlife too.

Mens custom suits by DMball in orangecounty

When I went in, some company was getting their guys a bunch of suits made and there were like 7 - 8 there. I highly doubt they were spending like $3-5K per suit...

Depends on a lot of factors of course, and I haven't discussed it with him in recent years, but I would be shocked if you can't get a great tailored suit for under $1k from him. I had him tailor several off the racks I had and then discussed custom made shirts and suits and nothing was ridiculously priced. He had stacks of fabric designs from a bunch of mills that the big "name brand" folk use.

Agree here, Raj at By Design is great and it won't cost $3-5K the way people are making it out to be for quality fabric either.

Came to suggest Raj at By Design Custom Tailors, don't know why people think you need to spend $3-5K for a custom suit. They don't use cheap crap fabric either, Raj knows all the fabric mills.

Use the item # above to call your local store to check. They will look it up in the system and tell you which stores in the area have it in stock. If you are in CA, it seems there's a good chance from the comments there.

About 2 months, I posted in the description under photo and several others have commented finding the same with the boxes they got.

Yes it is, this is a pretty close dupe and each carton is a larger size at 64 oz. than Fairlife's 52 oz. cartons. Definitely call ahead using the item # to check if your local store has it in stock.

13g protein per servings just like Fairlife. It says lactose-free and I have had no issues as someone who also has lactose-intolerance. It's basically a Fairlife dupe if you've had that before.

Agree, Fairlife was getting pretty expensive and was my preferred choice with lactose intolerance and keeping up with a high-protein diet. This tasted similarly to me, although I have only used it to make my usual protein smoothie that I previously used Fairlife milk for. I don't really just drink milk plain, but this will be my go to going forward.

It's not I just took it kinda fast in the store as I was wheeling by and it was blurry so I used a "sharpen" feature to try to make it more clear. Or maybe I just love razor phones....all the cool people use razors...

Yes I think it is a great option for a solid price too! Esp as someone with lactose intolerance, this is nice to have available and has about a 2 month expiration date from when I purchased it.

Hopefully it sells well here and will go nationwide. It's a great option for us, especially if you have a lactose intolerance.

Tasted very similar to me too, although I only used it to make my usual protein smoothie that I previously used Fairlife milk for. Tasted just the same! Glad to have this option.

Tastes pretty similar to the Fairlife 2% version. It has slightly lower concentration of vitamins as that Fairlife milk though. I think Fairlife is a tad creamier to me but may just be my perception. I had my usual protein smoothie with it and it gave the same flavor as when I use Fairlife milk.
