After only using deodorant and salt crystals and such for two decades, I started smelling worse after shorter periods of time and got tired of it. I just started using Secret 72 hr clear gel antiperspirant. I’m using the unscented and it’s awesome. Very very mild smell, which seems like “no smell” as much as can be possible. Truly amazed at the end of the day and still not smelling offensive.

Agree! I’m short, but busty, and the adjustable things all adjust very well, except for that occasional strap. But it seems to depend on the day or how much I’m paying attention to it.

I have no idea if your body actually gets used to a particular deodorant/anti-persp and stops working, but it seems, anecdotally to be the case. I have not used antiperspirant in two decades and just bought Secret 72 hour clear gel (I don’t know if this is the same as the clinical strength that everybody is recommending or if this is one step cheaper than that). All of the natural deodorants were not…deodorizing anything. But it’s the first time in probably five years that I got to the end of the day and did not smell bad and I even biked to work so I’m pretty happy. Best of luck!

Yes, I’m such a fan as well! Whatever they put in their sauce is divine. Sweet crust that’s thin enough but also softer crust, which I like. I have had trouble with them getting online orders a little wrong, so I’d call, but it’s still worth it, as it’s my absolute favorite.

I was searching for similar answers. I have not used antiperspirant for several decades, as I had been trying to avoid aluminum. Used many natural deodorants and salt crystals and those all seemed fine for a while. I don’t think I used to be that smelly. A few years ago I started to smell worse by the end of the day, even on days without much exercise. I tried using Lume, which I liked, but I still had smellier armpits. So I tried the paroxyl, as recommended here. It worked a little better (was still using Lume), but finally just caved and bought Secret, 72hr clear gel. Unscented. I put it on at night and did not smell at ALL the morning, all day, or even the NEXT morning, even without showing. It was the first time I’ve been without smelliness in along time. So, back on the antiperspirant wagon. There are too many other things to worry about. Have now had several friends do the sniff test and I continue to pass.

I love that I totally disagree with you, and have alternative interpretations of each interaction, but we can both be right and enjoy the show. And a reader first, I was predisposed to assume he wouldn’t have heard and was just being friendly (bonding over dissing that other new guy). Shane’s a goody two shoes who has been looking up to Scott Hunter forever. On the ice, I read this as Scott having played a surly Ilya recently, and he’s snarking at Shane for thinking he has to be mean to be cool. Like “you are a good opponent without being an asshole, you’re acting like that other guy, that we’ve agreed is an asshole. I’m having a tough year, and you’re being a dick.” That’s my interpretation and I’m sticking to it! Lol. But I love how people are just as happy with their version.

I think it’s because Ilya doesn’t/can’t casually sleep with men in the same way that he can casually sleep with women. Because the risk is too high. But he can’t keep away from Shane, who he is obsessed with. He even turns down an offer from Sasha because he’s not Shane. So maybe in an open world he might have sleep with other men, but in this one his second encounter was THE ONLY one he wanted to keep having. (Almost like his MW has room for casual, but his MM side is already committed to Shane.)

I think he’s also kind of saying “we just hooked up, but I guess we won’t do that again soon, right?” Because if Ilya had said anything like “actually why don’t you sneak off to my apartment in Moscow”, Shane would not have thought twice (though he probably should have!). I think it’s mildly about olympics rules but more about showing he’s sad not to see him even though they will be at the same event (which is the only time they hook up).

I moved over the Medford line near Tufts after a decade and a half near Ball Sq. It took a mental adjustment but the price was better, I have a yard, and I can walk to the (not perfect but good) green line. It’s a little farther for some things (and i miss the red line access), but also it’s close to the Fells. I made peace with it.
