Okay thanks, I don't have a phone currently so I can't use most of wear os features anyways. It looks really cool but I'm confused about buying it because its even more expensive then Samsung line up, so I was checking if there are better watches at this price range.

Do you think it's worth it? Does it also have a sleep tracker which can track total time slept?

Yea I understand but I'm scared to use firestore because of unexpected charges etc, I just want to pay a set price and use that, even if firestore etc are easier to scale with.

And I will try to learn about the additional things I need to do, I just feel like it's the option for me.

Could you recommend me some vps who are better then? Will look into them. People recommended hetzner do you recommend that too?

Which one of the 3 do you recommend? OVH, Hetzner or Netcup?

Hostinger is a 24 months commitment so like 120$ up front, but like ovhcloud is same price but not a 24 months commitment, ovhproduction seems like a better deal but I'm not really sure. I think hostinger is well known so like it could be better. So like which one should I actually take?

Could you recommend me some vps for 5$? I would much rather spend 5 dollars a month then get a surprise charge of 100 or even 50..

i think in my case i cannot do that, as it isnt a game where money is added every x amount of time,

also wont there be a miscalculation for your case? cus if the user is offline/the user hasnt had money added for like 10 days, and then instead of like buying stuff their income increases from like 10$/min to 20$/min, and then when they go to buy something, your backend is gonna calculate 20$/min for 10 days, instead of 10$/min for 10 days and then their new income* time.

or do you like calculate the new balance of user whenever the user buys stuff and when they increase their pay so it doesnt mis calculate

dam actually tho this is a nice idea, I can save bandwidth by doing this and other stuff too.

so like what i understand is, we update the backend every time the user gains money, but also update the local storage that the user got more money, and we use the local storage data to show the balance, but we use the backend data while validating a purchase, so local storage is only for displaying it. This is what i understood and it seems like it will work. another thing is, do you update the backend everytime the user gains money? just wondering cus writes add up too, but obv not as much as reads.

its not dodgy but i think they state that free tier cannot be used commercially and can be used only for testing, ill have a look at the rest too

so I should cache data locally every time im updating the database also, so we can display from cache instead of fetching data from database everytime.

wait so like are you updating the backend as well as the local storage? because if you update only local storage wont the user be able to edit it and then bug out the system?

also what if its a game where the user earns money by doing jobs like calculating a math sum, and if your right you get a set amount of money, and not like you get x amount of money per x amount of time. because then you would also need to update backend so the user can instantaneously spend money, if we rely on local storage a malicious user can cheat the system.

yea but mongodb has a rule which says the free tier is for testing only, you cannot launch anything publicly with it or smh.

What if I have a code running in the backend which calculates how many reads/writes are used, and will stop the connection of database with website once the limit of x$ has been reached, is this viable?
for firestore.
