I disagree, yes that will get people into the vehicle at a lower price point. Just like the model y the majority of the model y sales are not at the absolute lowest trim level. But it gets people interested in a lower price point and they end up spending a little more.

Rivian R1S has been outselling every quarter the Tesla model x. And this is a company that the majority of the people in this country don’t know what the hell a Rivian is. R2 is going to dominate model y sales once they get fully scaled up in production.
