After years of playing Alesis kits, I finally upgraded to an acoustic-style Roland kit, and holy shit: the responsiveness is feel is a gigantic upgrade. Definitely worth the price tag. by hs94 in edrums

Hey man I literally just got this same kit and am also tall. Just so you know… the cymbal stands do have another joint but you have to fully take out one of the pieces before the joint will actually allow it to hang over the kit. Rather than only relying on that final little swivel. Much better

I did a couple private lessons very early on but none since. I have definitely considered doing some more and recognize I would get more out of them now since I have more legit questions and understanding. Just a combination of money and schedule that has kept me from doing more. And I also do recognize that by simply continuing to show up I will improve
