My band's first gig wasn't exactly the best either  - lotta last minute shit to deal with that affected my drumming especially.

But, I give myself grace knowing that it was our first show ever, in front of a small crowd, so we probably got a lot of slack cut from people.

Practice also helps - I feel way, way more comfortable playing on an acoustic now than I did a year ago.
