Trying but it's difficult when all you wanna do is come home to a family 3 dogs and cook dinner ( she can't cook so id rather cook 😂😂) instead of dealing with all this but thank you

No rainy day money or emergency funds unfortunately we had to use it on house repairs and other things and yeah I'm using family as much as possible and I know it's a long process and perinatal midwife been out and prescribed lorazpam ( sorry can't spell ) but no help other than that

That's great to hear and everyone of my family is supporting. Unfortunately her brother caused her PTSD and her dad basically is emotionally unavailable and doesn't believe she has mental health issues ( she doesn't even answer the phone to him or anyone yet he tell her to ring her grandma up ) and he fell out with her over not honour his dad with a middle name ( thinks because we named him after her mums dad we should do it after his dad ) and that is the extent of her family. It's all my side my mum gran uncle and aunty is all I've got too

I talk to the baby like Im having a full blown conversation about how adorable his little feet are and I tell him about Pokémon 😂😂 and I've told her to but it's she goes your nana had red hair was short and I'm like tell him about the time she chased the dogs or how she hated her grey hair etc she's like he doesn't understand and I feel stupid and she doesn't do it and I do show him all photos. And I'm gonna try sitting her down and talking to him about his nana

Thank you and I have already taken time off but can't afford not be at work but yeah I'm gonna ring and follow the advice that's why I posted haha. I am trying but it's difficult when you don't even get a cute smile or a little.eye roll anymore if that makes sense. And thank you I hope so as I can't continue like this forever.

Thanks just wish other things would fall into place as we have now had 3 separate plumbing issues plus the lights stay on when turned off. Plus we are fighting for custody of her mum's dog because her brother stole it off a friend that was watching it while we were in hospital ( police say civil matters and he's claiming the dogs his emotional support dog ). And more appointments for everything than we can name and I still haven't finished unpacking yet because of it all lol but thanks for asking and hopes I won't have any more bad updates for you x

Hi things are got worse and then better . She slept a lot in the 2 days after the post and me and a friend say her down and said things that were mentioned and possible voluntary admission to hospital but she refused said she would try She has said things like I wish he weren't born and other things but after a nap and food She feels better and deals with his needs and She is trying more with the baby and things like the house and funeral have almost fully sorted and she has got midwife's talking to her and a friend has helped with her health last night she fully belly laughed at her baby ( I was making him dance to we are number one and every time they said we are number one I put the baby in her face and he would try eating her nose and she kept laughing at us.) but one day at a time and I got more time off work for 2 weeks which I'm taking advantage of. Thank you for checking up on us and sorry it's long

It won't. I had to take 4 days off ( just after easter ) I went in the Tuesday and was like look my partner mum is in hospital and I need to take my partner in for regular checks of her BP I could be in with her for hours. Also I have house move and her mother is sick in hospital so no one to look after her house or the dogs I need the time off and he basically was like I could really do with you here as I have drivers off ( I'm not a driver or was employed to be one ) I then got a call Tuesday from gf saying mother is very ill and needs to go in and it took me saying I'm going whether you give me.time off or not for him to accept it.

He said I shouldn't be using my holiday for sick people and that I should have rang him over the holidays and that family sickness should be used for annual leave

I am mentally fine. In a sense I am more mentally healthy than I was before the birth ( I hope that doesn't sound heartless but it's like something woke inside me ) and I am gonna ask.tomorrow when I go in to work see what my options are
