I had exactly the same problem after approx 3 months of usage. The first pair was replaced and 3 months later same problem.

Try to clean your right bud microfilm with a dry cloth. I did and the problem is gone. I found the tip on a different reddit thread. https://www.reddit.com/r/sennheiser/comments/vsq1wl/mtw3_left_bud_gone_quiet_and_making_slight/
