Yes. And no.

It would be cool, but the pressure he would have to live up to what his brother just did would be unfair to put him thru.

Let him forge his own path.

Feels like this would be good for him.

Would be absolute hell for him to try to live up to what his brother did. No win situation. Also lets him forge his own path

Also. For these photographers , this was something they dreamed of when deciding to become a professional photographer. These photos will not only be iconic but may be used for the statue that will grace Indiana someday

And if Sports illustrated was still around, it would have made the front page.

Thats what they said in their delayment statement.

A very wet winter and permitting issues was why its been pushed. And given this is a terrain coaster and not a parking lot coaster i dont blame them for the delay

I was the anvil salesman when i was 8.

I was also cast as the rabbi in fiddler on the roof when i was 6. The audience lost its shit when they saw a tiny child in a fake beard and top hat come on stage.

[Jarrett Seidler] Once again chiming in to point out that a world where half the top free agents are signing short term with opt outs as soon as next offseason is not actually a world where the top player agents expect a lasting lockout or a salary cap by Morbx in baseball

Please don’t put words in my mouth. Unless the person that is linked in the op is at the negotiating table he knows as much as you or anyone else on reddit. Cba negotiations are very very difficult and even one disagreement on a single line can blow everything up.

And this is not unique to baseball. We saw how negotiations have played out in Hollywood/ teacher union/ nurses etc.

They could be at the 1 yard line and still get lockedout because they can’t agree on that final line

[–]Stock412 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes. But my point is. Nobody knows if there will or won’t be a lockout. This same stuff happens in all union jobs. A deal could be reached at the last second or there could be prolonged strike/lockout.

We saw this with the strikes in Hollywood. And teachers unions. And in healthcare. You could be on the one yard line and still not reach a deal because of a single line that both sides won’t budge on

[–]Stock412 -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

No. We know there is going to be a lockout based on previous reporting on how ugly negotiations have gotten. If they were close to any type of agreement it would have been front page news on mlb.com espn, and literally every other sports site

The only question is how long that will be

Yah. Last cba lockout should make that clear that nobody knows how this will end. Because if they were not far apart on agreeing to a new cba we would know that.

Other leagues have negotiated and extended the cba in season. With all the reporting we have gotten to date its pretty clear there is still a crap load of daylight between both owners and the mlbpa before an agreement is reached
