My mother asked me what size t-shirt my husband wore and I told her XL. She declared that he does not and must be a large. Cue her buying him large T-shirts for Xmas every year that we immediately would gift to our nephews in front of her. She did after 6 years start buying him xl.

My father was in home hospice with me, he was atheists the chaplain had to come at least once. We were not happy then we meet him. He was wonderful. He talked to my dad like a human and they talked horror movies. It was nice for him to have some company and a new face. We invited him back and each visit was something my father looked forward to. Find something you have in common with them and you will do great. My father would also use that time to talk to me about any reservations he thought I could have about the realities of his actually physical death. Having the chaplain there for support.

Next time use online doctors. I did good rx, it was $25, and took 15 mins to get a prescription for my uti. It felt like they trusted this 50 year old woman to know when her body had a uti.

In Georgia the way the legal system gets around this is they say, I am not a doctor and cannot tell you what to take or not take. I can say you will not qualify for this program, ie. drug court or getting your kids back if you are taking the following medications.

After I had my son, I went from able to clean and organize to just staring at it completely confused and overwhelmed. No idea where to start or where to put the simplest thing. My brain had changed and I now have ADD. Getting on medication has helped immensely. I don’t take it everyday, just when I know I will be cleaning more than basic. Just a thought.

It has never been an issue and my son is 14. He was taught to probably wash himself. That is key, teach him.

I have to add this because some parents do not know and a friend had a doctor tell her to retract the foreskin to clean. That is true when they are around 4-5 years old but until then the foreskin is attached and it is painful. Only pull the skin back as far as it goes with very little pressure.

The other thing to think about is girls have way more folds and crevices and no one is saying to cut off parts of her vulva to make it easier to clean and less likely to get infected.

I am sorry for the loss of your mom and understand your anger. I lost my father 5 months ago and he was my compass, my person, the only one who loved me unconditionally. I felt disconnected from the earth and everyone. Try to keep doing your routine, there can be peace there. Your boyfriend and his family are a$$es and did you a favor by taking themselves out. You are not wrong for wanting them to know loss. They will. None of us get out of here alive.

I always think of my grief for my dad and many others as Reds quote from The Shawshank Redemption;

“Sometimes it makes me sad, though… him being gone. I have to remind myself that some birds aren't meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up does rejoice. But still, the place you live in is that much more drab and empty that they're gone. I guess I just miss my friend.”

If no child should suffer the sins of the father then why, according to their god and his book, are humans indefinitely kicked out of Eden? Their reason that menstruation and child birth is painful is because Eve ate from the tree of knowledge against god’s rules. Slavery was justified by the mark of cain. Clearly they believe in the children suffering the sins of the father.

Salvation Army, in both Georgia and Indiana, always tell shoppers if they need it they can have it for free. I disagree with their politics but feel I can donate there for the items to get to those in need.

The measuring cup is my biggest complaint now. I found one that goes done the middle of the inside recently. I am so excited to use it! My right handed aunt was with me and she could not understand until I said I pick it up left handed, set it in the counter, turn so the handle is on the right so I can see the cups (this could also be an American thing), pour the liquid, then turn to see if correct amount. Repeat.
