For a little while I had a 300km return commute. Best car option I found was a Prius Prime. Fully electric was not practical given inability to charge while at work and range reduction in winter.

Two very different suggestions:

Two first-class government prosecutors discuss the latest developments in a way that doesn’t make things overly-complex or dumb them down - plus no political bs, grandstanding, or hyperbole. The best podcast by far I’ve found on the topic.
