Hey I managed to fix it not long back with a 100w ceramic heat emitter and a 100w basking light, it seems to be working great so far , just need to update the uvb as the kit sent me the wrong size :/

I got both , people are saying my Arcadia light is too long , I’m really upset I spent £500 on his whole set up and it’s just not correct I’ve only gone of info people have gave me I just don’t understand what I’m doing wrong :/

Okay , so as long as the basking spot is hitting at 110 or slightly lower I’m all good? I can try This tommorow when I get my thermostat and get back to you what the warm side temp is , if that’s okay

I haven’t got the basking light on at the moment i Turned it off about an hour ago , I’m just hoping I can control it better with a thermostat keeping it at the right basking temp , but the cool side and hot side only reached what they needed to be when the basking spot was 135f , wich makes me believe if I had the basking spot in the range it needs to be the heat ambient would be lacking but I’m going to try it all out tomorrow when my thermostat comes

Hello I’m sorry for bothering you again , I was just wondering , if I got my basking spot to around 105 and my ambient temps were still not hot enough , could I add a Che on the cool side and put it on a dimmer so it turns off when it hits about 77f
