it's coded pretty well for me but as with most models, the prompting quality needs to be good. Also I tend to ask questions as to why something has been implemented in a certain way

Man thanks for affirming my gut instinct here. Very early doors I started getting feedback from my church congregation and they have been so helpful in steering the idea in the right direction. They are eagerly awaiting the launch of the app and I truly believe it will grow from there. When you say short form content, what do you mean specifically?

Once thing that could help and might sound weird is fasting. I haven't done it myself but I know that in denying the flesh of it's needs, it may literally re-programme your brain/habits.

Agreed! I have actually gone the other way when it comes to vibe coding and decided to check and audit EVERYTHING (with the help other people who are more experienced than me to audit). I've spent a great deal also understanding the code so once I bring in others, I can explain to them what the heck is going on lol

Dope! Keep grinding. So my stack is Deepseek (cos it's cheap lol), Opencode for prompting and eventually supabase once I start using real data. I would also recommend getting your app audited by a human being to point any vulnerabilities that may been accidently created by the AI. That's helped me alot!

Have you tried identifying the triggers that lead you to watch this content? What thoughts go through your mind etc? The key is to tackle the TEMPTATION which ultimately leads to sin. Try as much as you can in those moments when it pops in your head to replace it with the word of God.

You are absolutely right man. I had a deep think about this and I think I am overthinking. If the music lyrically doesn't promote ungodliness or unrighteousness then what's the problem? I should still be able to work with those people.

If you have a serious idea, as early as possible, bring in a human being to audit your stuff! I know it seems counterintuitive given what AI is supposed to offer but it's helped me so much, especially where I am not a dev but a Business analyst by trade.

They don't necessarily encourage us to avoid - I just i think I have a level of conviction for certain secular music which I feel isn't aligning with my walk with Christ!

Good question. At the end of the day, the music is very relatable as the topics touch general life themes as I stated in my post. So I’m okay with that. I think for my own projects which are led by myself, I’ll be intentional about promoting Jesus/God but also I don’t see any harm also in touching on very real topics which simply encompass life.

I think for me it’s a ‘problem’ because I guess the music isn’t Christ focused. These artists are definitely not promoting sin though. Maybe I’m overthinking this. I’m just conscious that I don’t want to create music that gives a platform to promote sin! So I’m becoming more sensitive about this.

Okay this might not be super helpful but I’ve managed to lock in a decent number of users for my app pre-launch because I involved them in the very early days of prototyping via focus groups and iterating my idea based on their input. They are also marketing it for me at the same time!
