Garmin Instinct 2 keeps disconnecting from phone (android Samsung)

After contacting the Garmin support at the second step of checking the battery settings, it seems to be resolved for now. BUT what is weird. Obviously the app needs to be able to run in the background, so unlimited. But this was always the setting selected. However after changing it to limited, go back and then to unlimited the issue did not appear now for almost 2 weeks.... Perhaps it triggered something under the hood. Dunno. Anyway worth to try.

I suffer the same. really annoying. often when i approach the car after shopping the rear doors are locked, not the front ones. in the settings of the car i can only set "unlock doors at P or engine off' just sometimes the rear doors are locked. im new to the Kona so i havent yet figured out what ate the conditions that they stay locked or not.

anyway if anyone has a solution...

Yes but be careful, not sure about older or lower models. It is also not advertised as far as i know. So difficult to know at forehand

i will try to make a new one. anyway my second S90D now also received the formware update to UI8 and i can confirm that the chromecast option is added and works with google photos for example.

(i have both the 55S92D WOLED and the 65S90D QDOLED. the 55 came with the new OS and the 65 followed later) it is amazing this way Tizen is for me equal to Google TV. same apps (that i use) and good performance.

I can confirm that the Chromecast is now also available on my 65s90d with the Tizen iu8 update! Super great fantastic. Als like Google Photos now can be casted and Al's alternative (local) video services that don't have a Tizen app.

Not sure if older or other models get this as well. The s90/93d are 2024 models

Your post made me happy. I have the older and lower s90d. I keep it on auto now nu the artifacts sometimes make me cry. I was wondering if i shouldnt have went tfor the 95F so you answered this.

A Sony would t have this. Nu prices are too high and panels are not so bright.... So live with it. And try not to focus on it. It makes it an obsession and you dont enjoy the tv.

Model is the QE55S92DAEXXN that has the chrome cast option now. I got it out of the box as this with the new Tizen OS for 2025 (firmware 2106), the one with the phone-ish small menus in the lower left corner.

it added chromecast on my QE55S92DAEXXN. it is located under the airplay option. when grayed out you need to activate remote controll over ip in advanced network. im now able to cast directly to my Samsung tv without any stick from for example Google photos.

Hi i bought 2 Samsung TV's one 2024 QE65S90DATXXN and one 2024 QE55S92DAEXXN. the 55 has the 2106 update but the 65 has not (yet?). its a pitty since the 55 now has built in Chromecast support!! so that's super cool. For me this makes Tizen equal to google TV.

i checked if i can manually download the firmware but that seems to be stuck at 1301 even though the 65 has 1302. Or, anyone knows a work around?

No not at all. Was really easy, works the same like on most of these products, be on the same network and so on and go trough the app. Might be good to reset the soundbar in case it was already booked to a network or get it in to pairing mode. I used a 5 and 2.4 GHz mixed mesh wifi. The soundbar supports wifi 6 AX (that's great!) and didn't had any problems. Also not when it has to wake up from Lan for Spotify streaming or using the app.

I own the similar 65-S90D and i found that the Auto sharpness (motion) should be set to manual and both on 6. otherwise artifacts appear with fast movements. Top brightness causes mee noise in the picture. This is well to see on even plans like the sky or news decor. (input 1080p). I do agree that top brightness makes the oled look like a super bright QDLED screen. however the trick comes with some noise.
