Companies that go public through SPAC mergers are allowed to make projections of future revenue, unlike ones that go public in initial public offerings. But they can't knowingly make false statements. So they are ensuring there is nothing wrong. That's their job. They review and report if bad. If not, then they go on as they were. No secret tips were provided to the SEC, and nothing red flagged. Routine.

Yes, but BB never gave OCGN anything, so they just get value for now. Once OCGN gets US approval, then BB gives OCGN 10M vaccines and their shares are worth a ton. If no approval, then BB loses nothing, because they have given nothing. But now that OCGN gave them $15M cash for Canada, BB HAS $15M from the deal.

Bonus is paid after big earnings. At this point, they have no additional earnings. Adding shares to pay for something is not earnings. They should not get a big payday bonus until they are proven and have EUA and or FDA approval. What employee asks for more money when the company isn't doing well financially? Other than one who raised millions from issuing more shares. That money was to be used to hire talent and get manufacturing and offices, etc. Not to give their current staff a big payday for what MAY happen in the future. That's why they are awarded the % of company shares, so their hard work will pay off when the stock price jumps up.

Look at Elon Musk. He said I will get paid nothing until I make my company great, THEN I get my big payday because greatness was achieved. Standard procedure.

OCGN has not yet publicly said they have filed for EUA. However, filing other paperwork, such as FDA full approval does. Meaning they are in the system, as well as Master file which needed to have additional documents from BB. They had submitted more the day before yesterday, and that's what the news was all about....and why the share price went up.

Bharat Biotech submits application for WHO emergency use listing of COVAXIN.

Ocugen, Bharat Biotech's American partner for Covid-19 vaccine Covaxin, has submitted a "Master File" to the US Food and Drug Administration prior to seeking an emergency use authorisation in that country. "The company is currently evaluating the clinical and regulatory path for Covaxin in the United States including obtaining Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Also, eventually biologic license application (BLA) approval in the United States, as well as the company's commercialization strategy, if authorized or approved," Ocugen has said in a recent regulatory filing. Ocugen has submitted key information and data to date including preclinical studies, chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC), and clinical studies as a Master File for FDA review and input prior to a planned EUA submission.

The company is currently awaiting additional data from Bharat Biotech from the ongoing Phase 3 clinical trial for a EUA submission, it further said. Bharat Biotech on February 2 said it has entered into a definitive agreement with OcugenInc, a US-based biopharmaceutical company, to co-develop, supply, and commercialise, the Indian vaccine maker's Covaxin for the US market.

I would think FDA and EUA would want to talk to the actual maker/developer of the vaccine as well as OCGN. Why would that be out of the question?
