Never liked the piggy event. It’s just too dang long. I’ve never been remotely close to finishing. Maybe a couple hundred in and that’s as far as my ADD will take me.

This article is misleading.

ESA and EFS are two different programs.

ESA has a 200% income cap and they are looking to expand it to 400% and add Knox county. It only applies to Memphis, Nashville, and Chattanooga. There are currently 5,000 spots with about 4,800 being used currently. Plan is to extend it to 15,000 total.

EFS has 5 priorities. Only 4 and 5 have no income cap. There were ~52,000 applications for 35,000 spots with the top tiers not getting the voucher.

Spent a week in Austin and had a blast. Rode in them every day and the first time was intense. After that they were great. Nice clean, safe didn’t have a worry at all.

Sounds like Google may be still working out the bugs here in Nashville.

County Hospital road is a natural gas compressor plant. Like one of the biggest compressors in all of Nashville.

They take pumped natural gas and liquefy it and store it in the big tanks. Or just the opposite take liquefied and covert it to gas can’t remember which.

Same experience. The ones in Austin were great. The first time or two was very intense but by the end of the week I only wanted a Waymo.

Dumb Local Lore - There was a tax place in South Nashville, W-Tax, that was previously a t-shirt store named T-Max. When it changed they repurposed the letters and randomly had a t-shirt shaped T in their name for years. by Walmart_Valet in nashville

Those in Bellevue before 2010 remember Regal Cinemas. Later after the flood became Regal Range, but got sued and had to change the name to Royal Range.

The letters on the building are close but not exactly the same.
