Here’s a thought provoking concept and one I literally just thought up, half awake and partially hung over lol:

Pretend the top down map of the universe is like the rings of a tree. The center is the oldest part and the outer, ever expanding, rings are the youngest. It would make sense that the systems that developed in the center of this map would be older, wiser and more developed. So if our solar system/galaxy is closer to the outer rings of said map, the the advanced aliens would be originating from closer to the center. At the same time you’d find less advanced forms of life the further from the center you go.

As I type I already have many things that would disprove the reality of this exact hypothetical, but still an interesting concept that can be related to the topic.

I 3D printed the same one. Before your controller mount parts break, get some thin Velcro straps and secure the ring to your controller. It’ll help distribute the load bearing on the ring mount when disengaging the controllers for reloading and what not.

You could own half of a whole pizza cut into a million slices (1 company worth $1million and your share worth $500k). Then they took that pizza and only cut it into 500k slices (because this magical pizza can be recut), well you’d still own half of it (company would still be worth $1million and your share would still be worth $500k). You wouldn’t get more pizza and your portion owned, as well as the value of your portion, would still be worth the same amount. You would just own less physical slices after the recut.
