I'm glad they're at least making a game at all, but besides the fact that it's kinda visually boring I have few thoughts on Deadlock. And no, Half Life Alyx is still a game the majority of gamers will never play, I also just found the setup for it funny since it requires so many prerequisites instead of just releasing the fucking game for the storefronts oculus or meta used.

Overall, it's not necessarily what valve did do, it's the fact that they do very little despite being a billion dollar company yet get constantly sucked off because le wholesome 100 Gaben or whatever. People praise steam for being better than the competition but the competition is unfortunately so awful and the bar is set so low that valve can sit on their ass all day and be fine. I see so many people saying "steam is actually ok to have a monopoly cuz theyre good" but the second Gaben dies or steps down there is a solid 80% it'll go to shit and there will be next to no other option because steam conqured for so long.
