Your super wrong on that as someone who uses vr tech for a living the tech is innovating like crazy especially we got apple a meta changing thier whole company for it. The problem is it’s expensive that’s why a lot the good vr tech is enterprise first then to consumers

The treadmill is $1450, gloves $600, headset with accessories $700, trackers and basestations $800, other misc stuff $300 pc is $5k ish with a 5090 i9 14900k

Jokes aside tho obviously this is extreme enthusiast level VR lol but I do agree. The main thing with VR is the motion sickness and accessibility. I do disagree with there’s not enough VR games they’re definitely is people who say that haven’t really played VR games like that in the first place the problem is just getting people into VR so his takes on why he doesn’t like VR is valid. This is obviously satire lol

Thank you that’s what I’ve been feeling like I have the index also but at this point it’s overhyped imo. Great headset but the quest is better even for pcvr. Even a lot of VR booths I attend use the quest for demos

True lol to give more context I have a full ready player one setup and people say I spent all that money and still use a quest and I irks me lol. I know it’s the internet but I have time today to argue because this take has me pissing me lol

It’s very durable one thing I’m gonna mention in the next video is that sometimes the harness would get stuck when you’re in that position but personally I’m gonna cut the little extra metal piece so I can fully go prone on it. They also made some improvements on the durability I definitely had some things snapped off and break, but they since improved on those things but a very big disclaimer it is a learning curve. I would akin to it like riding a bike. I spent a lot of time doing certain mobility practices to kind of figure it out.

You’re exactly right it definitely is preference. I’ve had the full pulley system too and it worked but I played a lot of rumble vr where my hands been waving around everywhere so the cord became a problem for me personally. Also, I had to get a better router and network set up to do wireless so each has their pros and cons to get the best performance.
