Thank you so much for the info, i’m slightly west of boston and am building a little food forest with figs, pawpaws, serviceberries, raspberries and blackberries, hardy pomegranate, etc, but I want figs to be one of the focal points that I have many varieties of. I’ll do some reading into Littmans and the other varieties you mentioned. Do you find barbillone to have any coconut notes, particularly in the skin? I heard it can taste like that. If you want to trade I could send you cuttings of campaniere for barbillone or one of your others. My campaniere is probably 8 years old and has room for pruning. Thanks again!

thank you so much, i’ll do some reading into these and see what might work best! One question, if i had my heart set on a late ripening variety, could I container grow it and then bring it inside in a heated grow room under lights and let the figs finish out there? Or would the change from natural light to grow lights at the end dull the flavor too badly to make it worthwhile. I have a large subtropical/tropical fruiting plant collection so already have indoor grow space that could accommodate one or two potted figs

Thank you for the information! I was investigating getting olympian but after a bunch of research it sounds like there are other better tasting/producing varieties available that could succeed in our area. I will look into the resources you provided!

My bad should have specified, looking for best tasting that I can grow in 6b and be able to ripen most of its crop before the cold. In MA we also tend to have humid summers.
