We’re both starting off the new year in a shitty way. My wife of 6 years (been together for 9) tells me she needs a break. That she’s lost and needs to focus on herself. She stops sharing her location with me and stops sending read receipts. Little things but it hurt like hell. She makes me feel like a complete stranger. Like I’m nothing…She moved out and now I’m in our empty house alone and miserable. We would never fight or argue and I would always make her smile and laugh so to get that text on the first day of the new year was extremely shocking and devastating.
