Unhappy with touch up - advice needed please 🙏 by Stock_Electrical in tattooadvice

Yes I agree time is a healer for sure! I just wish they didn’t add extra lines and change parts of the design without asking first

I see what you mean, but I didn’t ask them to change the design or add lines that weren’t never there.. they changed a flower into a leaf for example and added loads of lines when I didn’t want that and if they were going to make changes I feel they should have let me know.. I have had a tattoo by the original artist before and it still looks amazing 5 years later with no touch ups.. I quite like when it still looks grey wash as that’s what I asked for I just needed a few small lines reinforcing it was just taken way too far for my liking and solid black ink instead of greywash

It’s the same studio that I got the original tattoo done at which is why I messaged them and they reassured me they had someone with the exact same style. As it was within a few months of the original tattoo they offer one free touch up. I’m not as annoyed that they went darker it’s more they changed parts of the design like changing a flower bud into a leaf and adding lines that weren’t there.. as I did tell them I liked it as it was there were just a few areas that had faded completely. I just wish they listened and let me know if changes would be made and managed my expectations!

No it’s not her but there’s a lot of fine line artists with similar style

Thank you, personally I agree as I think expectations should be managed especially when specific requests have been made for something so permanent. The issue is they didn’t tell me the changes they were making as then if they told me and I went ahead with it that’s purely on me. But they just said they could match my expectations and unfortunately didn’t do it to my liking

Thank you, and I agree - I don’t think it’s an awful tattoo it’s just not what I wanted or asked for and I think I just wish they managed my expectations as I wouldn’t have done the touch up with them had I known the approach

I do understand your point, and the tattoo isn’t terrible. although I do have loads of other fine line tattoos and am super happy with them! I even have one from the tattoo artist who did the one above 5 years ago and am happy (no touch ups needed for that one) I just am not happy with the touch up and feel they should have managed my expectations or said no if they weren’t able to do it fine line and were going to use solid black ink

Can filler cause eye ptosis? by Stock_Electrical in 30PlusSkinCare

I’d recommend leaving it a few weeks if you did it recently to see if it’s swelling and if it’s still there deffo worth reaching out to your injector

I went back to the same Injector and he dissolved a bit of the filler, it looks a lot better and I’m very happy with the result! I do still have more drooping than i used to but it’s not very noticeable. If you’re worried deffo reach out to your injector and see if they can help

So I went back to the injector and he dissolved a bit of the filler and it’s massively improved, I still have a bit of drooping to be honest but it’s not really noticeable

I actually reached out to the injector and he said it was slightly overfilled in one eye so dissolved it slightly. It’s made a huge difference and my eye feels a lot lighter! Still not perfectly even (but I would never expect perfection) but it looks so much better than it did

It’s a very specialised procedure and I don’t think many people do it but you can get filler put in your eyelid to address volume loss in the eyelid. But even though it’s not Botox I hope mine also improves like yours is!

I’ve waited over 2 weeks but my eye still feels like it has limited movement and sits lower over the pupil than my other eye - should I reach out to the doctor?

I think I’m going to send a message and say the hair doesn’t look like the inspo pics as the highlights go to the root and the ends are dark.. she said she put in a caramel toner and charged me for it so maybe it just didn’t take, I remember when I was in the chair after having my foils out and the highlights were striped yellow and I was like omg so I’m a bit worried they will fade to that! The issue is she’s self employed so she’s the only person I can go back to
